Description |
Provence is one of the best known areas of France. The sunflowers, the fields of lavender and the magical arid landscapes are paramount in our imagination. But it’s also a place known for its culinary traditions, celebrated wines and rich history. Thousands of acres of peaceful countryside await your exploration and your route notes will acquaint you with how best to stay off the beaten track when traversing this stunningly varied landscape. Climb to the top of the gorgeous Alpilles, uncork the delicious vintages from one of French wine’s top regions and bed down in the region’s best hotels. In sum, it’s pure pleasure. |
Crisscrossing three countries, this whirlwind tour between two of Europe’s most celebrated capitals squeezes unique culture, delectable food and drink, stunning scenery, wild nightlife, and centuries of thrilling history into seven days without ever feeling rushed. Browse the galleries and museums of Paris and gape at the Swiss Alps' natural beauty, all for less than you’d ever dreamed possible. |
Day 1
Warm up by exploring the picturesque village of Gordes, spotting a lavender field or two and meandering the valley of the famous Sénanque Abbey.
Day 2
Explore the breathtaking Lubéron Valley, walking through the stone and vineyards to the tiny villages of St-Pantaléon and Lumières. Tonight you'll enjoy a wine tasting followed by a special dinner prepared by Chef Laurent Houdart.
Day 3
Set off through vineyards and forest groves to the hilltop villages of Bonnieux and Lacoste, once home of the Marquis de Sade.
Day 4
Today explore Van Gogh country; the hills known as Les Alpilles. Walk from the medieval village of Les Baux along the cliffs above above the Val d’Enfer and down into the quintessential Provençal town of St Rémy.
Day 5
Explore St Rémy with its myriad of bistros and huge Wednesday market. This afternoon local guide, Mathilde, will take you to St. Paul Hospital, the historic asylum where Van Gogh spent his last days painting irises and other famous works.
Day 6
After a final breakfast together, we drive to the Avignon train station in time for TGV trains to Paris. Bon voyage!
Day 1 Paris
Arrive at any time. Tonight, you won’t need to go far for Paris to sweep you off your feet, because after all, it is the City of Love. Head to your hostel’s bar with your CEO and group to kick back and grab drinks in celebration of the first day of your grand adventure.
Day 2 Paris
Picnic in front of the Eiffel Tower; opt to visit Notre Dame Cathedral or explore Montmartre.
Explore and discover the “je ne sais quoi” of the City of Lights. Paris has something for everyone and you can use your day here to picnic under the Eiffel Tower, explore the outstanding museums and churches, float down the Seine on a river cruise or people watch at one of the charming cafés.
Day 3 Paris/Interlaken
Take a train from Paris to Interlaken, a small city in the Swiss Alps with breathtaking scenery.
Day 4 Interlaken
Enjoy an orientation walk of Interlaken. Opt to get the adrenaline pumping with some canyoning or whitewater rafting. Explore a nearby glacier or go swimming in a crystal clear lake. Don't miss the nightlife on your Big Night Out!

Don't miss the amazing Italian food, wine and nightlife. We recommend pre-purchasing advance entry tickets for popular attractions such as the Sistine Chapel, Villa Borghese, and the Colosseum to avoid waiting in long queues on the day of your visit.
