Description |
Spend six days traversing the famed Golden Triangle of Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. Explore the sites of hectic Delhi and travel on to Agra to marvel at the majestic Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and one of the most recognizable structures on the planet. After, explore Fatehpur Sikri, the Deserted City of red sandstone, the Amber Fort, and the sights of Jaipur. They all await in the frenzy of culture and history that makes up India’s Golden Triangle. |
Day 1 Delhi
Arrive at anytime. Take an included transfer to the hotel where a G Adventures representative will provide information on the upcoming days.
Day 2 Delhi
Head out on a guided city tour of Old and New Delhi. Discover the sights and sounds of this exciting capital.
Day 3 Delhi/Āgra
The beauty and grandeur of the Taj Mahal cannot be put into words. Marvel at this incredible structure, one of the most recognizable buildings in the world.
You will be picked up in the morning for your transfer to Agra, home of the Taj Mahal. Take a tour of this amazing world wonder and the city. Opt to visit Agra Fort.
Day 4 Āgra/Jaipur
Drive to Jaipur, visiting the deserted Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri en route.
From the 'Deserted City' of Fatephur Sikri to the Amber Fort and the 'Pink City' of Jaipur, enjoy sites that epitomize Rajasthani culture and all this exotic desert state stands for.
Day 5 Jaipur
Explore the 'Pink City' of Jaipur, including the Amber Fort, City Palace, and view Hawa Mahal. Opt to visit local markets and catch a Bollywood film.
Spend the day visiting the famous sites of Jaipur, including the ruined city of Amber and the Amber Fort, the grand City Palace, and stop for a photo opportunity at Hawa Mahal palace complex. In the evening, consider treating yourself to a night at the cinema. Going to see a Bollywood film in India is much, much more than what we are accustomed to in the west. The atmosphere, energy, and pure fun (not to mention volume!) has to be experienced to be believed. Your driver will provide transport to and from the cinema and you pay your own entrance fee.
Day 6 Jaipur/Delhi
Drive back to Delhi where tour ends on arrival in the afternoon.
Drive back to Delhi, where you will be dropped at your hotel (not included) or the airport.
