Day 1: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport
Accommodation: Overnight at Kilimanjaro Wonders Hotel on bed & breakfast basis.
We meet and greet at the airport and we transfer you to Moshi.
Day 2: Day trip to the base of Mt Kilimanjaro
Accommodation: Overnight at Kilimanjaro Wonder Hotel in moshi.
Visit and learn the history of Marangu and its people. Marangu, at the lower slopes of Kilimanjaro, is a small town with a great amount of history and ancient traditions. Day 3: Serengeti National Park
Accommodation: Overnight at Kati-Kati Luxury Tented Camp on full board basis.
After early breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with an en-route game drive and picnic lunch in Serengeti.
Day 4: Game drive Serengeti national Park
Accommodation: Overnight at Kati-Kati Luxury Tented Camp on full board basis.
After breakfast, embark on a full day game drive and picnic lunch in Serengeti National Park. Overnight at Kati-Kati Luxury Tented Camp on full board basis.
Day 5: Serengeti National Park - Tarangire National Park
Accommodation: Overnight at the Maramboi Lodge on full board basis.
After breakfast, depart for the Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive and picnic lunch in the Park.
Day 6: Tarangire National Park - Arusha - Zanzibar
Accommodation: Overnight at La Madrugada Resort
Return to Arusha and fly to Zanzibar Island and transfer to La Madrugada Beach resort. Overnight on half board basis.
Day 7 & 8: Zanzibar
Spend the next few days just relaxing by the pool or on the beach, or take some time to explore the historic Indian Ocean Island.
Day 9: Zanzibar - Dar es Salaam – fly back home

Day 1: Arusha
After arriving at Kilimanjaro Airport, a representative will be waiting to welcome you into Tanzania before transferring you to your lodge.
Located in central Arusha, a mere 1.5 hours drive away. Your base for the next night, for the start of your family safari.
Lying on the gently rolling foothills that cascade down from the ever-present Mount Meru is the bustling and vibrant town of Arusha. It is here on the outskirts of this town, hidden amongst one of Tanzania’s largest coffee plantations, that's where you will find Arusha Coffee Lodge, a perfect haven for relaxation either before or after any East African safari.
The homely feel of the Lodge is by no means accidental as the origins of the homestead continue to emit glimpses of times-gone-by, also a certified property of responsible tourism.
Day 2: Karatu
Wake up to a hearty breakfast at Arusha Coffee Lodge before your transfer to the Ngorongoro Crater in a 4x4 safari vehicle, as you make you way to the crater you will enjoy a prearranged game drive through Lake Manayara National Park, with a packed lunch, this is a great way to kick start your safari.
You will be staying, for the next 2 nights, at The Manor situated at Ngorongoro, in the north west of Tanzania. Crossing the Rift Valley and climbing the steppe onto the green and rolling hills south of the Ngorongoro Crater, there lies a truly undeniable surprise and one that will be a home-away-from-home.
Day 3: Karatu
Day 4: Central Serengeti
This morning you will wake up and enjoy you final breakfast at The Manor before being transferred to the Serengeti National Park. As you make your way through the Serengeti National Park, to your next location, enjoying yet another prearranged scenic game drive, with a packed lunch.
The next stop on your family safari is Serengeti Pioneer Camp, here you will spend 3 nights enjoying morning and afternoon game drives though the Serengeti National Park. Located in South Central Serengeti - Tanzania - (within the Moru Kopjes area), Serengeti Pioneer Camp is ideally situated to offer superlative access to the annual migration and the ‘Big 5’ with sweeping views overlooking Moru Kopjes, Lake Magadi and the endless plains.
Whilst at Serengeti Pioneer Camp, enjoy day long game drives, with bush picnics, sundowners, camp-fire dining and much more. The iconic Serengeti is home to lots of wildlife.

Day 7: Kendwa
After breakfast in the Serengeti, you will transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar via Arusha. You will then transfer to the Northern Coast of Zanzibar.
Touch down in Zanzibar Airport where you will be welcomed by a Ker & Downey Africa representative ready to accompany you to Gold Zanzibar, situated in Kendwa, one of the most beautiful and calm spots of Zanzibar, on the Northwest coast of Zanzibar. This beach house in provides a refined context and excellent services in a breathtaking location.

Today marks the end of your family trip. After a final breakfast at Gold Zanzibar, your driver will meet you to transfer you to the airport for your onward journey home.
