We have the pleasure to introduce you to one of the most beautiful cities in the world – Porto. In this travel package, you will be able to taste all the traditional Portuguese flavours with diverse activities we have planned for you. Come on-board and come fly with us across the Douro River towards the typical vineyards with a Port Wine tasting, and enjoy a unique dining experience. We promise that the views of the Douro Valley will truly blow you away! You´ll also have a fun gastronomic tasting tour with a planned Brunch at The Majestic Café, passing by Arcádia Chocolate Store and a lovely Traditional Cooking-Class (and just to add a little bit of fun) with a visit to the traditional, loud & colourful Bolhão Market! Day 1: Lisbon Airport
Arrive at any time. An arrival transfer is included from the airport to the hotel. There are no activities planned for this day. Lunch and dinner are not included. Overnight in Lisbon.
Day 2: Lisbon – Sintra – Lisbon
Sintra is 30 km from Lisbon offers a foretaste of Paradise. The soft climate ensures a freshness permanent existence of a luxuriant vegetation make Sintra a deeply romantic and mysterious place. Stand out from the Town Palace, the Pena Palace (Ticket entrance included). Visit Piriquita the pastry of the famous queijada.
See the 16th-century Jeronimo’s Monastery (UNESCO); the Monument to the Discoveries, honoring intrepid Portuguese explorers and their patrons; and the impressive Belem Tower (Tickets are not included). Visit an old patisserie that has managed to hold on to the secret recipe of Portugal’s finest pastry for over 100 years and enjoy a demonstration and tasting of the famous ‘pastéis de Belem’. Visit the castle of S. George (Ticket entrance included), considered the most emblematic monument of Lisbon, the Castle of S. Jorge is a relevant witness of odd moments in the history of Lisbon and Portugal. Conquered from the Moors by the first king of Portugal D. Afonso Henriques.

Day 3: Lisbon - Óbidos - Nazaré - Fátima - Oporto
Your day on Portugal’s “Silver Coast” begins in the medieval walled town of Óbidos. After that, we visit the quaint town of Nazaré. It is said that the picturesque village of Nazaré got its name from a statue of the Virgin Mary brought to town from Nazareth by a monk in the 4th century.
High above the town is Sitio, reached by a funicular that climbs 110m (360ft). All of Nazaré can be seen from here, and across the square is the 17th century Nossa Senhora da Nazare Church with two Baroque belfries and 18th-century tiles depicting Biblical scenes. It also contains a revered image of Our Lady of Nazareth that is taken down to the sea in a traditional procession every September. Nazaré is famous for its women who wear skirts with seven petticoats. women would sit on the beach waiting for their fishermen to sail home. To keep warm in the face of a cold sea wind while staying modestly covered, they’d wear several petticoats in order to fold the layers around their backs and legs.
Today Nazaré is Portugal’s most famous fishing village, having always drawn visitors to its beach and genuinely colorful life.
Finally, we visit the pilgrimage town of Fatima. Join the faithful at one of the world’s holiest sites and pay homage at the Chapel of Apparitions. Overnight in Porto.
Day 4: Porto
Elected Best European Destination 2012 by the European citizens, Porto, is history, architecture, culture, gastronomy, trade, encounters, and discoveries. Walking tours in Porto, visits to the city’s historical center of world heritage and monuments of Porto. Itinerary: Torre dos Clérigos, Livraria Lello e Irmão (Tickets are not included), Avenida dos Aliados, Estação de S. Bento, Ponte Luís I, Sé Catedral, Bairro da Sé and Ribeira. Overnight in Porto.
Day 5: Douro Valley
Some of the best vineyards in Portugal opens the doors for you to the culture and community that are behind a country’s history. This is an unforgettable journey through the beautiful landscapes of scenic mountains and wonderful seaside views – taste Portugal with a wine experience and taste the regional flavors that will make a feast for your senses! Lunch is included. After lunch, we visit Shrine of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios. From one of the central avenues in Lamego, climb to the top of the hill up an imposing baroque staircase with 686 steps ending in a shrine built in the rocaille style in the mid-eighteenth century for the worship of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios, although it was not completely finished until 1905. The same Nicolau Nasoni who painted the cathedral ceilings designed some of the baroque works that decorate this monument, in particular, a very beautiful granite fountain next to the shrine itself. Various landings enrich the monumental staircase with interesting sculptures, making the long climb of the pilgrims less arduous. Overnight in Porto.
Day 6: Porto – Braga – Half Day
After breakfast, we have a small briefing about Bom Jesus do Monte Shrine. Ascent will be made on the lift; this is the first funicular of the Iberian Peninsula, built in 1882 by Swiss engineer Nikolaus Riggenbach. This lift uses the system water balance, and it is currently the world oldest, in service, use this ecological system. The cabins have a water tank, full when you are at the top level, and emptying at the bottom. The difference in weight allows the obtained displacement, the amount of water is calculated depending on the number of passengers. The descent of the mount will be done on foot. In the afternoon, we will visit the cathedral. Overnight in Porto.
Day 7: Porto Airport
End of the program. There are no activities planned for this day. Lunch and dinner are not included.
Day 1: Airport Pick Up + Hotel Check In
As your flight is approaching the airport, be transported by the fascinating views of the city of Porto! Soon, you will be wandering around those typical unique streets, which are full of culture and authenticity. Upon your arrival at the airport, expect a short drive, where your chauffeur will take you to your luxury wine Hotel & Spa:

Welcome on board and fasten your seatbelts! Enjoy your own private helicopter tour with exceptional views of the Douro River and the old town of Porto. Admire the wonderful views of the city, the traditional port wine cellars and the remarkable D. Luís Bridge at 10 000 feet of altitude. We will fly you to a wonderful vineyard, located in the heart of the Douro Valley called "Quinta da Pacheca" where you will be spending the day, with a guided winery tour through the fields, a port-wine tasting and a lovely relaxing lunch, overlooking the picturesque Douro Valley vineyards. You will be fully immersed into the rich Port Wine history, along with the current vineyard and winemaking processes currently used in Portugal.

Day 3: Market Tour with Cooking Class - Local Market Visit And Drive

Be ready for a hands-on session for our real Foodie lovers. During the day, before your cooking class, you will be taken to the local market, where you'll be introduced with the Chef, to all the local ingredients. After the market visit, you'll be invited for a Traditional Cooking Class based on local ingredients adjusted for the season. Our chef will teach you in a very relaxed environment the best of the Portuguese Traditional Cuisine with a modern look and touch. After the class and all the work and love put into the Menu, you'll have the pleasure of savouring your meal whilst engaging with other participants and sharing different experiences.

Day 4: Organic Tea Field + Guided Tour + Infusion Tasting

Welcome to Cantinho das Aromáticas! One of the few organic urban farms that produces aromatic plants. The agricultural ecosystem brings together one of the largest private collections of aromatic, medicinal and spice plants in the Iberian Peninsula, of which this brand has been known to provide some of the best infusions, herbal teas and condiments in the world, several times awarded internationally. Enjoy your tour around the herbal farms and the little tea tastings session where you will get to choose and even "design" your own brew!

Day 5: Porto Discovery Tastings

Be ready to enjoy Morning Brunch at the one and only - The Majestic Café. This is one of the most beautiful and meaningful examples of Art Nouveau in Porto, open and successful since 1921. Enjoy the unique designs of the plaster-decorated ceilings and of the endless Flemish mirrors, you'll truly feel special. After this stop for brunch, we invite you for a little stop at the famous Arcádia Chocolate Store. Known for its chocolates, Arcádia’s traditional assortment has maintained its original forms and flavours since 1933 where each individual chocolate is crafted with care and each one hides some of Arcádia’s magic in its interior! After your leisurely day around the town, we invite you to a little wine tasting by the hotel with a view of the sunset. Afterwards - enjoy a Iconic Port Wine Tasting for a relaxing evening and with a lovely dinner reservation at your choice.

It is time to say goodbye to the city of Porto, as your private chauffeur is driving you to the airport.
