Day 1-3: Athens
Upon your arrival in Athens, your private driver will welcome and take you to your hotel downtown. Check-in, freshen up, and get ready for the first day of your exciting trip. As the sun sets, begin your exploration of Athens’ highlights by night on a tour with our expert local guide. Stroll through the historic neighborhoods of Plaka, Thisio, and Psyrri, while learning about the city’s history and culture. Let your tour come to an end by enjoying a light dinner of mezedes -Greek tapas- and wine at a local tavern.
The next morning, seize the day with a private mythology tour. Follow your expert guide and archaeologist who will show you around the sacred rock of Acropolis and the 21st-century class Acropolis Museum, and will give you fascinating narration of the many myths and stories surrounding these wondrous sites. The rest of the day is free for you to discover the city at your own pace. Roam through the town, go shopping, and try the most popular Greek street food, souvlaki. When the city lights switch on at night, celebrate your honeymoon at a rooftop bar while sipping your cocktail and enjoying a breathtaking, panoramic view of the ancient city and the Acropolis.
On day 3, enjoy a leisurely morning. You can explore any undiscovered archaeological sites, or revisit your favorite parts of the city. In the afternoon, let us drive you through coastal Athens to discover the beauties of the Athenian Riviera. Reach Cape Sounio and the magnificent Temple of Poseidon and get inspired by romantic views and the heart-melting sunset. Before you return to your hotel, opt for a stop at a seaside restaurant for a lovely dinner.
Day 4 to 7: Santorini
The following day, it’s time to move on to the next stop of your honeymoon trip, the gem of the Greek islands, Santorini. In the morning, let us drive you to Athens airport in the comfort of a private vehicle so you can catch your flight. Upon arrival, you’ll get transferred to your accommodation, where you can relax for the day.
On day 5, set off on a private tour and explore the highlights of Santorini along with your local guide. Drive through small hilltops, admire the unique volcanic beaches and visit the archaeological site of Akrotiri, the Minoan Age settlement. Enjoy stunning views of the famous caldera and finish your tour at a traditional winery tasting local varieties. Alternatively, you can choose to join other travelers and explore the riches of the island with a unique gastronomical experience. Visit two traditional wineries to taste their vintages, take part in a hands-on cooking class of famous Santorinian dishes, and enjoy a traditional Greek lunch prepared by you.
On the sixth day, enjoy a completely free day with your soulmate and find out why this island is considered to be one of the most romantic places on earth. Go swimming and sunbathing on the black sand beach of Kamari or the mesmerizing Red beach. Explore the gorgeous towns of Fira and Oia, or even go on a hike from one to another, where you’ll enjoy a scenic walk by the cliff with spectacular views of the caldera and shining blue ocean waters. Lastly, do not forget to watch the magical sunset, the most renowned romantic activity in Santorini!
For day 7, a half-day sailing experience is due. Embark a deluxe catamaran and cruise along the beautiful coastline of Santorini. Stop at Red Beach and White or Mesa Pigadia Beach, swim in the warm volcanic springs, and enjoy a delicious fresh meal on board. Opt for the evening cruise to catch a spectacularly crimson sunset!
Day 8 to 11: Mykonos
The next morning, your driver will take you to Santorini port for you to board the ferry to the last destination, Mykonos. Once you reach Mykonos port, let us drive you to your hotel, where you can relax and rest for the day.
On the ninth day, get on board and experience a day out in the open sea of the Cyclades. Swim and snorkel in the crystal clear waters of the uninhabited Rhenia Island. Savor a freshly-made meal on board, and have a guided tour of the archaeological site of Delos, the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. Enjoy the luxurious lifestyle of Mykonos, and let the winds blow your worries away!
Day 10 is free for you to choose how to spend it with your significant other. Set on an exploration of the island on your own, or opt for a private tour of the island’s highlights with your guide. Walk around the beautiful alleys of Mykonos’ old town, and see the famous windmills. Visit the second main village of Ano Mera, which shows you a different side of the island that is less crowded, and more casual. On the penultimate day, a romantic getaway awaits you. Enjoy a luxurious private transfer to a designated seaside location where you will have an original wine-tasting adventure. Taste five ancient Greek wine varieties of distinguished notes and aromas while learning about Greek Mythology and culture. If you feel more adventurous, enjoy a semi-private cycling ride at dusk towards Fokos beach where you’ll have a mouth-watering picnic of local meze and indigenous wine in privacy.
Day 12: Athens
On the last day, your driver will take you to Mykonos airport so you can catch the flight to Athens and then back home. This once-in-a-lifetime trip may have come to an end, but you’ll always cherish the precious moments and exhilarating experiences you lived with your better half!
