A 10 day journey that will have you exploring the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans, Okavango Delta, Chobe National Park ending with the famous Victoria Falls. Fully reversible as well, this 10day journey will take you on experiences that will challenge you in some way, connect you with your surroundings and leave some kind of positive legacy behind. Go on game drives, mokoro safaris, quad biking, horse riding, boat cruises and guided tour of the Falls to name a few.

Itinerary: 10-Day Botswana and Victoria Falls Experience

Day 1-3: Makgadikgadi Pans

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Accommodation: Camp Kalahari; Luxury tented camp (with rustic facilities) located just outside Makgadikgadi Pans NP

All drinks (Premium wines & liquors might be excluded)

After arriving in Maun you will take a light aircraft to Makgadikgadi for your 3 nights at Camp Kalahari.

Game drives through the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park afford you spectacular wildlife viewing opportunities. Night drives in the area offer you the chance to spot lions and follow them on the hunt. Here you'll be able to see endangered species lesser spotted in the Delta such as the brown Hyena, aardwolf and bat-eared foxes.

Go on a walking safari with your guide to go see the habituated meerkats or join the Bushmen on a walk through the desert.

Day 4-5: Khwai in Botswana

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Accommodation: Sable Alley; Luxury tented camp located inside Khwai

This morning take a light aircraft flight to Sable Alley. Experience the next 2 days at Sable Alley with comfortable and stylish enormous tents offering world class game viewing without leaving the camp.

Exciting activities to get stuck into including day and evening game drives, mokoro excursions (when later levels permit), game walks, viewing hides and more.

Wildlife you'll see here include big herd of buffalo, lions, wild dogs, red lewche, roan and sable.

Day 6-7: Sable Alley - Kasane – Chobe

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Accommodation: Ngoma Safari Lodge; Luxury lodge located just outside Chobe NP

Main Destination: Chobe River (Botswana)

All drinks (Premium wines & liquors might be excluded)

After breakfast and check out and fly to Kasane Airport on a light aircraft. Upon arrival you will have a road transfer to Ngoma Safari Lodge.

This boutique lodge, an oasis is in a wildlife wonderland, offers unrivalled panoramic views over the game-rich floodplain and Chobe River. It is on the doorstep of Chobe National Park, also known as the ‘Land of the Giants,’ as it is home to the largest population of elephants on Earth.

Activities include:

A full day safari: incorporating a cruise on the Chobe River, a game drive in the Chobe National Park (which has over 75 species of mammals) and a picnic lunch.

Night game drives: these are available in the Chobe Forest Reserve.

Birding: there are over 450 species to be spotted in the region.

Walking with a professional guide (subject to availability and pre-booking).

Optional breakfast and lunch cruise from the new jetty at Ihaha, located in western Chobe.

Day 8-9: Victoria Falls

Meals: Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included)

Accommodation: The Victoria Falls Hotel; Luxury hotel located in or near Victoria Falls

Main Destination: Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

After breakfast you will take a road transfer across the border to Zimbabwe to Victoria Falls to spend 2 glorious nights at the colonial Victoria Falls Hotel which is a 5 star hotel in the heart of Victoria Falls town. It was originally built in 1904 and is the oldest luxury hotel in Zimbabwe. A member of the prestigious Leading Hotels of the World.

This Hotel is within walking distance to the mighty Falls offering a private entrance. While in Victoria Falls there are various activities you can add to your itinerary.

Ker & Downey Africa recommend including a guided tour of the falls, helicopter flip over the falls, devils pool (seasonal), sunset cruise on the Zambezi River and enjoying a lunch with the Elephants.

Day 10: Departure

Main Destination: Victoria Falls Airport (Zimbabwe)

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Victoria Falls International Airport to connect with your on-ward travel arrangements.

DAY 1, Saturday - Depart for Mexico
Welcome to Mexico City, the nation's capital. Transfer to your hotel. Your tour will begin with an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager at approximately 7 PM. We recommend that you select flights which arrive no later than 5 PM

DAY 2, Sunday - Coyoacán, Mexico City Tour
The day begins in the neighborhood of Coyoacán. Here, visit Casa Azúl (Blue House), now a museum where Frida Kahlo lived most of her life. After an exploration of this city, continue to Xochimilco with its Floating Gardens, named a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return to Mexico City and tour the Centro Historico. Stop at the Zocalo (Central Square) to view the National Palace, known for Diego Rivera's dramatic murals. Travel past the city's iconic buildings, including the art nouveau Palacio de Bellas Artes and the Metropolitan Cathedral. This evening, celebrate your arrival to Mexico at dinner

DAY 3, Monday - Teotihuacán, Travel to San Miguel de Allende
Depart Mexico City and travel to the archaeological site of Teotihuacán, known as the City of the Gods, built around 100 BC. View the Jaguar Temple before continuing to the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon and the Avenue of the Dead, flanked by temples and palaces. Later, depart to the city of Queretaro. Take a walking tour of the city's historic center. In the afternoon, continue to San Miguel Allende. Dinner tonight is at the hotel

DAY 4, Tuesday - City Tour of San Miguel de Allende
Begin with a morning tour of the city. Stroll the cobblestone streets to the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcangel, and the Templo de San Francisco church. Spend the afternoon at leisure, or join the optional tour to the city of Dolores Hidalgo where the seeds for the Mexican independence movement began

DAY 5, Wednesday - Guanajuato, Travel to Morelia
Today, travel to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Guanajuato. View the colonial buildings, tree-filled plazas and brightly colored houses. After leisure time for lunch in the main square, visit the major historic sites of the city including the Juarez Theatre, San Diego Church and Shrine of Our Lady of Guanajuato. Stroll along the Alley of the Kiss and stop at the Garden of the Union. Later, proceed to Morelia for dinner and overnight

DAY 6, Thursday - Patzcuaro, Tzintzuntzan
Morning drive past scenic Lake Pátzcuaro to the hillside town of Pátzcuaro. Visit Vasco de Quiroga Square and the House of Eleven Courtyards, originally a convent, now housing a labyrinth of small shops where artisans display their crafts. In the afternoon, travel to the ancient capital of Tzintzuntzan, ceremonial center of the pre-Columbian Tarascan state. Circular pyramids called Yacatas were built to protect the city. Visit the old Franciscan Monastery of Santa Ana before returning to Morelia for an evening at leisure

DAY 7, Friday - Travel to Guadalajara
Depart for Guadalajara, where tequila and mariachi music were born. After lunch, arrive in the city and check into the hotel. On this evening at leisure, acquaint yourself with the downtown at your own pace

DAY 8, Saturday - Walking Tour of Guadalajara, Tlaquepaque Artisan Square
The discovery of Guadalajara begins with a walking tour in the heart of the city. Visit the Metropolitan Cathedral with its twin golden spires and stained glass windows. Pause at the Government Palace to view the powerful murals by famed artist Jose Clemente Orozco. Next, visit Tlaquepaque with its renowned artist's village. Time to explore the area and sample local favorites at one of the sidewalk cafes. Tonight, bid adios to your Tour Manager at dinner
