Asociación CREAR offers after school programs as an opportunity for growth. These classes enrich the lives of 200 students from Playa Samara and the surrounding areas with a wide variety of innovative programs focusing on academic and artistic education, environmental consciousness, health, and socio-cultural development. Through these programs, CREAR seeks to enhance not only the children’s lives, but that of the town’s future as well. |
Day 1:
11:30pm – 1:30pm: Meet with CREAR staff, learn about the organization, and help to organize and/or prepare materials.
1:30pm – 2:00pm: Travel to nearby community of El Torito Note: you will need some form of transportation to get to El Torito! The staff at CREAR rides their bikes (it's about a 15 min bike ride). You may rent bikes in Samara, or you can hire a taxi (approx $68 each way). Or if you have a rentalcar you can bring your car!
2:00pm – 3:00pm: After school program at El Torito Return to Playa Samara.

3:00pm – 3:30pm: Return to Playa Samara
3:30pm – 4:30pm: ESL program in Playa Samara
Please note: Because CREAR’s projects and programs do not run every day of the week, your experience may differ depending on what is happening on the day your visit.
