Day 1: ARRIVE IN NAIROBI, KENYA

Day 2: NAIROBI–SHABA NATIONAL RESERVE
Shaba SpecialDrive north out of the city to Shaba National Reserve, home to the “Special 5,” a collection of unique animals, including Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, beisa oryx, and gerenuk. Start your safari adventure with an afternoon game drive.

Arid AwakeningMorning and afternoon game drives plus free time at your lodge. Due to the dry climate, grasses are sparse, making animals easier to spot. The Ewaso Ng’iro River borders the reserve, providing a year-round water supply. These two factors make for a great game viewing experience! Sundowner drinks in the bush are served prior to returning to your lodge for dinner.

Day 4: SHABA–OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY
Wonderful Weavers & Wildlife Sanctuaries Depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy, the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa. En route, stop at Nanyuki Spinners and Weavers, a project aimed at building sustainable livelihoods for local women through social and economic activities. After lunch, visit the [LF] Sweetwaters Chimp Sanctuary, then set out for an afternoon game drive.

Day 7: LAKE NAKURU–MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
Jewel of KenyaThis morning, depart for Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya’s most famous game area. “The Mara,” as it is called by locals, is part of the Serengeti ecosystem and boasts a strong permanent population of game. When the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebra arrives, typically from August to early November, their population grows by almost 2 million, providing a bountiful food source for predators such as lion, cheetah, leopard, and hyena. After lunch at your lodge, set out on an afternoon game drive.

Day 8: MAASAI MARA

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Pick up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on arrival. You will be briefed about the safari then be transferred to Nairobi Hilton Garden Inn Hotel for rest and overnight.
Day 2: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
This morning we will travel by road across the equator from the southern to the northern hemisphere and on wards to the semi-arid region of the Samburu National Reserve. The reserve is fiercely beautiful with its arid savannahs watered by the lovely Uaso Nyiro River. Enjoy an en-route game viewing as you drive to Ashnil Samburu Camp for lunch and check-in. After lunch you will get a chance to rest a little then head out for an exciting afternoon game drive in search of the special five reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, gerenuk, Somali ostrich and Beisa Oryx. In the evening return to the camp for rest, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Samburu National Reserve Full Day
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After an early breakfast, you will start your game drive. The day will be spent in alternating pursuits of exploring in the bush and relaxation in the camp. All meals and overnight at the camp
Day 4: Samburu National Reserve – Aberdares National Park
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Your destination today will be at Aberdares National Park. Depart after breakfast and drive to the lower slopes of the Aberdares arriving at Aberdares Country Club in time for lunch. In the afternoon we set off to Ark Lodge, perched in the forest, on the mountain slopes of the Aberdares Mountain. The lodge has four viewing decks with balconies and lounges that provide superb game viewing from the comfort of your tent. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 5: Aberdares National Park – Lake Baringo
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After an early breakfast at your lodge depart for Lake Baringo arriving at Tumbili Cliff Lodge for lunch. In the afternoon visit Lake Baringo for boat riding and view different species of birds. Later in the evening return to the hotel for rest, dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Lake Baringo – Lake Nakuru National Park
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast we will drive to the exotic Lake Nakuru National Park, located in the Great Rift Valley, arriving in time of lunch at Sarova Lionhill Lodge. After lunch have an exciting game drive in search of animals till late evening where you will return to the lodge for rest, dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Lake Nakuru National Park – Naivasha
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Wake up early for a morning game drive. During this time chances of spotting animals are high since the animals are still active and it’s not too high. Return to the lodge for full breakfast. After checking out leave the park as you enjoy an en-route game viewing and depart for Naivasha arriving at Naivasha Simba Lodge for lunch. In the afternoon have a boat ride into the lake then proceed to the Crescent Island Sanctuary to walk among the animals found on the island. Lunch, dinner, and overnight at the lodg
Day 8: Lake Naivasha – Amboseli National Park
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast depart for Amboseli National Park arriving in time for lunch. Check-in in AA Amboseli Lodge then have a brief rest. At 4:00 PM have an evening game drive and exploration of this beautiful park famous for its huge herds of elephants. Lunch, dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 9: Amboseli National Park Full Day
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Rise early for a cup of warm African tea/coffee then head out for a morning game drive. This is the best time to see the snowcapped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro and spot animals since it’s not too hot and the animals are still active. Return to the lodge for freshening and have a sumptuous breakfast served in buffet style. Afterwards collect your picnic lunch boxes and leave the lodge for a full day game drive in search of animals till evening where you will return to the lodge for rest, dinner and overnight.
Day 10: Amboseli National Park – Tsavo East National Park
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast, leave the park and proceed to Tsavo East National Park. Arrive at Ashnil Aruba Lodge for check-in and lunch. After rest a little then head out for an exciting afternoon game drive in search of giraffes, zebras, gazelles, hartebeests as well as the must-see animals (BIG FIVE). In the early evening return to the lodge for rest, dinner and overnight.
Day 11: Tsavo East National Park – Nairobi
Meals: Breakfast
Enjoy an early morning game drive. There are interesting aspects in the open area of the park including the Yatta Plateau, one of the world’s longest lava flow plateaus. After a successful game drive return to the lodge for breakfast and thereafter proceed to Nairobi arrive there in good time for you to rest in your Nairobi Hotel or drive to the airport where our safari ends.
