Conservation MattersGuided sightseeing starts at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to learn about elephant conservation including orphaned elephant calves. After lunch, visit Karen Blixen Museum, dedicated to the Danish baroness and author of Out of Africa – a 1937 autobiographical account (later, an Academy Award winning film) illustrating her experience as a coffee farmer and connections with Kenya. You’ll also visit the Giraffe Centre, followed by free time this evening.

Day 5: OL PEJETA–NYAHURURU FALLS–LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
High and MightyLeave Ol Pejeta and journey through the beautiful Kenyan highlands, one of the most fertile agricultural areas in all of Africa. Stop at scenic Nyahururu Falls and then on to Lake Nakuru National Park for an afternoon game drive and a chance to see giraffe, impala, flamingo, striped hyena, and a variety of birdlife along the water’s edge. Lake Nakuru National Park is home to the largest euphorbia forest in Africa, an important pollination and food source for bees and black rhinos, yet toxic to many animals.

Day 6: LAKE NAKURU–MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
Jewel of KenyaThis morning, depart for Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya’s most famous game area. “The Mara,” as it is called by locals, is part of the Serengeti ecosystem and boasts a strong permanent population of game. When the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebra arrive, typically from August to early November, their population grows by almost 2 million - a bountiful food source for predators such as lion, cheetah, leopard, and hyena. After lunch at your lodge, set out on an afternoon game drive.

Day 11: LAKE MANYARA–KARATU–NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA
From Forest Floor to Crater’s EdgeLake Manyara National Park is a small, ecologically diverse park with groundwater forests, grassy plains, and alkaline Lake Manyara itself. The park is also home to the world’s largest concentration of baboon. Watch for these mischievous primates, giraffe, hippo, and more on your morning game drive. After lunch, journey to Karatu where you’ll visit a [LF] local primary school. Continue to your lodge on the rim of Ngorongoro Crater, which is part of the larger Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Day 12: NGORONGORO
Into Africa’s EdenDescend into the crater for a full-day game drive. Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest unflooded caldera, more than 2,000 feet deep with a floor covering over 102 square miles. Game viewing here is fantastic, as most of the animals stay in this area year-round. This is your best chance to see the rare black rhinoceros, lion, Cape buffalo, hippo, elephants, and a variety of birds during this extraordinary experience. An exclusive [LF] bush lunch will be served in the crater.

Day 13: NGORONGORO–SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
On the Endless PlainsDrive to Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s largest and most famous park. The Serengeti covers an area of roughly 5,700 square miles. The name comes from the Maasai word siringit, meaning “endless plains.” Enjoy lunch at your tented camp before an afternoon game drive. You have the chance to see the big cats—lion, leopard, and cheetah—as well as an abundance of other animals, including the Nile crocodile, giraffe, gazelle, and eland. You may even spot a caracal, a rare, beautiful cat with distinctive ears and strong hind legs.

Day 1: Transfer To Arusha City
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be picked up by a representative of Love & Dove Africa and transferred to Arusha city. [Arusha city] is lovely small town situated at the foot Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro. It is the perfect spot to spend a day or so prior to advancing any safari expeditions including mounting the Kilimanjaro. It has a range of quality restaurants, bars and local markets that you may visit to have am authentic view of the city. Day trips can be organized to Arusha National Park, National Museum and coffee plantations in and around Arusha, at clients request.
You will spend your first night at Planet Lodge a cosy lodge, at Arusha City.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you will be met by your driver/guide and briefed prior to commencing your Safari. Depart at approximately 9 O’clock and embark on an easy smooth drive to Tarangire National Park. The park is approximately 2850 square km (1096 square miles), and a distance of 118km (75miles) southeast of Arusha Town. Arrive at the tented camp for lunch, after lunch afternoon walk at the lake shore escorted by the Maasai, later evening sundowner to be organized at the camp, dinner and overnight at Maramboi Tented Camp.
Day 3: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, collect lunch boxes and drive to Tarangire National Park for full day game drive.
Tarangire National Park offers incredible open savannah grassland, immersed with acacia woodland, baobab trees, sausage trees and dense concentration of wildlife. Sighting large herd of elephants is quite common in this park. Wildebeest, zebras, buffalos, gazelles, elands, impala, antelopes, cheetah, leopards, mongoose, tree climbing pythons, lions and oryx can also be seen here. For bird lovers, an estimated 550 colourful bird species may be found here including yellow-collared lovebirds, hornbills, weaver, long-tailed paradise whydah and ostrich among others. Because visitors less frequent this Park, it is not crowded and is thus ideal for those who want to enjoy a serene Safari experience while seizing the authentic sights and sounds in the jungle.
You will arrive at the Tented Lodge for your hot lunch, and drive to the National Park for afternoon game drive in the Park, bush dinner will be served special for the couples arranged by the camp, you will spend your overnight stay at Maramboi Tented Camp.
Day 4: Karatu
After breakfast, depart Tarangire National Park at approximately 8 O’clock and drive to karatu arrive at the lodge for lunch, afternoon visit elephant caves and coffee tour, the rest day at leisure, dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Farm house.
Day 5: Karatu – Ngorongoro
After breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro conservation Area, with your lunch boxes served from the lodge, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which is located within the Serengeti, is home to approximately 30,000 protected animals. The infinite beauty and grace of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is unique, submerged in deep crater valley and highlands, a soda lake in which thousands wildlife quench their thirst daily. It is at the Ngorongoro that you will relish the wonderful privileged of viewing the Big Five in one location. The Big Five are characteristically imposing, enormous and deadly animals, these include the rare black rhino, big-tusked elephants, black-mane lions, leopards and Lions, which tend to reside at the Ngorongoro. You will also sight buffalos, zebras, hyenas, wildebeest, flamingos, bat eared foxes, jackals, gazelles, cheetah and a high density of birdlife species. The beauty of this place is the lions are not afraid to walk up to your safari vehicles, giving you an authentic Safari experience.Later evening drive back karatu for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Farm house
Day 6: Serengeti
After breakfast, with lunch boxes drive to Serengeti National Park, The Serengeti National Park in Maasai language means “endless plains” and is clothed with vast breath-taking landscapes, driving through the Serengeti is an authentic blend of the magical experience of Tanzanian wilderness and wildlife. It is the second largest national park in Tanzania and covers about 6,000 square miles of savannah, grasslands, hills, woodland, hills and riverine forests. The Serengeti National Park is also famous for the annual migration when millions of wildebeest migrate to Maasai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya. The beauty of the Serengeti lies in its unimaginably vast plains filled with a variety of wildlife, and allows the visitors to roam the plains and embrace the magic of the wilderness. You will enjoy an exceptional evening game drive sighting several lions, elephant, elands, hyenas, cheetahs, jackals, hippos, crocodiles, zebras, leopards, buffalos, gazelle, giraffes, topi, ostrich and hartebeest among many others. The Park is filled with a vast variety of Tanzania’s best wildlife and habitats that make for an incredible game viewing experience.
And you drive to Serengeti Savannah Tented Camp where you will spend the night.

On your second day, you will embark on an early morning game drive in the Serengeti National Park and then drive back to the Lodge for breakfast. With your lunch boxes, you will depart the Lodge and continue your game drive in the Serengeti National Park. Driving through the Serengeti is an authentic blend of the magical experience of the Tanzanian wilderness and wildlife. The Park is also famous for the annual migration when millions of wildebeest migrate to Masai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya. Viewing the migration is an epic safari experience. It provides visitors a phenomenal pictorial and magnificently moving scene to the naked eyes. For those who enjoy photography, Serengeti’s vast open savannah provides an incredible backdrop to even the amateur photographers. The beauty of the Serengeti lies in its unimaginably vast plains filled with all wildlife, and allows the visitors to roam the plains and embrace the magic of the wilderness. You will view antelopes, lions, leopards, wildebeest, zebras and much wildlife here. You will continue your afternoon drive in the Serengeti. As the sun sets, the horizon of the Serengeti is movingly serene, ironically giving you an unexpected calmness in the African jungle. After your spectacular day of game viewing, you will retire for the night at Serengeti Savannah Tented Camp.
