This is an escorted tour. It’s perfect if you prefer not to do your own driving and want to see as many sights as you can during your vacation. Please note: GOOD NEWS - The local tour operator will no longer require a COVID-19 vaccination for travelers as of March 1, 2023. For travelers departing before March 1, the tour operator requires that travelers aged 12 and older provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination in the form of written documentation (paper or electronic copy), in English, for all vacations. Begin in Madrid for two nights of exploration. A tour guide will take you on a city tour. You'll see the Plaza de España, the Parliament, the Puerta del Sol, and so much more! From Madrid, you'll stop in Cordoba for a sightseeing tour before arriving in Seville. Pay a visit to La Casa de Pilatos during your guided sightseeing tour of Seville! Andalusia is known for flamenco dancing, so perhaps you'll enjoy a night out on the town! Continue on to Granada, where you'll discover the city through a walking tour. Visit the Alhambra complex and walk through the lush gardens! Next, you're off to Valencia. Another walking tour takes you through this beautiful city, known for its Roman, Moorish, and Spanish history. Enjoy a paella dinner here, too! The final stop of your trip is beautiful Barcelona. Here, you'll have two nights to explore the gems of this city. Enjoy a city tour and a visit to La Sagrada Familia! You'll enjoy one final dinner with your travel companions before saying adios to Spain! |
Day 1 Welcome to Madrid!
Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel. Tonight, meet your tour director and travel companions for a welcome dinner!
Day 2 Madrid
Today you'll discover magnificent Madrid through a guided tour with a visit to the Prado Museum! Be sure to ask about optional excursions to enhance your experience!
Day 3 Madrid - Cordoba - Seville
Your journey continues with a drive south towards Seville. Stop along the way for a sightseeing tour of Cordoba. You'll be able to see many of the city's best highlights! Then, continue to Seville, the vibrant, festive capital of Andalusia.
Day 4 Seville
Today you'll explore beautiful Seville! Included in your tour is a visit to La Casa de Pilatos, an Andalusian palace! Tonight, for a truly Andalusian night out, reserve a seat at our optional Flamenco show.
Day 5 Seville - Granada
Leave Seville and head for Granada! Experience a walking tour of Granada today, complete with a visit to the Alhambra Complex. Explore the beautiful gardens and fountains as you walk through the complex.
Day 6 Granada - Valencia
Today you'll drive to Valencia. Here, you'll enjoy a walking tour of the city! During this tour, Valencia's Roman, Moorish, and Spanish history comes alive. Tonight, a paella dinner will be served at a local restaurant!
Day 7 Valencia - Barcelona
Enjoy a scenic drive along the coast to Barcelona, Spain's second-largest city and host of the Olympic Games in 1992. Check into your hotel, freshen up, and begin exploring beautiful Barcelona!
Day 8 Barcelona
Today, you'll enjoy a Barcelona city tour! See the Columbus Monument, Plaza de Cataluna, and Paseo de Gracia. Admire the spectacular Sagrada Familia, Gaudi's masterpiece, and enjoy a panoramic view of the city and harbor from Montjuãc Hill. Also visit the Gothis Quarter! Spend your final evening saying goodbye to your new friends and cramming your last minute purchases into your suitcase!
Day 9 Barcelona
Your vacation ends today with breakfast and a transfer to the Barcelona airport.
