On arrival at Rome Fiumicino International Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check in.

Day 2: ROME(B)After a buffet breakfast join a 3 hour Discovering Rome walking tour. You will be picked up at your hotel at approximately 9.00 am and take you to your first stop on the tour, Lago Argentina before continuing to the Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, to Trevi Fountain, with the tour ending at the Spanish Steps. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 3: ROME NAPLES POMPEII AMALFI(-/L/D)Early this morning (7:00 am) depart from Rome heading to Naples by coach with a multilingual tour leader. Upon arrival in Naples our local guide will take you for a walking tour of the historical centre to admire the Piazza del Plebiscito, the Royal Palace, the Gallery of Umberto I, and the San Carlo and the Opera House before stopping for lunch stop at a local eatery where you will enjoy typical Neapolitan specialties such as” mozzarella, pizza or pasta” (soft drinks included). From Naples, continue to Pompeii, where you will have time to explore the excavations of this ancient Roman city which was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Vesuvio in 79 A.D. and buried under 4 to 6 meters of ash and stones. Afterwards travel to Amalfi via the breathtaking Amalfi coast with views of picturesque fishing villages including Positano.

Day 4: AMALFI(B/D)Enjoy your day at leisure, discover the beauty of this wonderful coastal village or perhaps explore the area. You can take the hotel’s shuttle bus to reach its private beach and relax in the waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Alternatively, you may wish to arrange an optional excursion in the area, and visit towns like Ravello and Positano.

Day 5: AMALFI - POMPEII ROME(B)Spend the morning at leisure before departing late in the afternoon back to Rome via Pompeii. In Pompeii you will join another group also travelling back to Rome.

Day 6: ROME(B)Today make your own way back to Rome Fiumicino International Airport.
