Come experience the Northern Lights and explore the land of fire and ice! We’re focusing on mindfulness on this trip and will be incorporating both scheduled and spur of the moment yoga classes led by BeBhakti Yoga’s Lauren Magarelli, that take advantage of the spectacular scenery. Each day will expose you to a new aspect of adventure and culture in Iceland. From riding an Icelandic Horse in the shadow of a volcano, speeding through old lava fields like the astronauts of the Apollo program, hiking to view an active eruption, or exploring a tunnel created by flowing lava, this unique adventure will have you telling stories for years to come! |
Day 1:
Arrive and head straight to the Blue Lagoon
Check into your hotel room and relax or tour Reykjavik
Rejoin the group for a guided city walk and dinner
Day 2:
4X4 adventure through lava fields along the Mid-Atlantic Ridge that attracted NASA and the Astronauts of the Apollo Program in preparation for the moon landing.
In the evening, after dinner, we’ll depart for a private Northern Lights hunt.
Day 3:
Golden Circle Tour
We leave Reykjavik and visit Thingvellir , Geysir, and Gullfoss, with a stop for lunch at a geothermally powered greenhouse that includes a private tour.
Northern Lights viewing either from the hotel hot tub or another hunt if the previous night was unsuccessful.
Day 4:
Icelandic horseback riding
Lava Tunnel Tour
Dinner in a Viking Longhouse
Northern Lights viewing from hot tub or short hike
Day 5:
Geothermal Tour
Dropoff in Reykjavik for those adding a few days
Dropoff at KEF for those flying home
