Description

Historic Belgrade is your first stop on this vibrant journey. Spend two nights before flying to Montenegro and continuing by coach to Dubrovnik for two nights. On along the coast to Split, then via Trogir to spectacular Plitvice Lakes National Park. Visit Postojna Cave, one of the largest in Europe, and on to picturesque Bled in the Julian Alps. With two nights here you have plenty of time to admire the scenery and relax. Finally visit Ljubljana on your way to Zagreb for two nights.

Our travel director’s favorite, the Balkan and Adriatic tour will take you on a beautiful journey to see Europe’s most scenic seaside destinations and natural wonders. We have specifically designed this tour for travelers who are interested in visiting the most gorgeous locations in the Balkans, but prefer a comfortable way of traveling. Unlike other tours, this tour is slower paced and allows you to connect a little bit more with the places you are visiting. You will be amazed once you discover the vibrant life in the cities, sunny and warm cultural disposition, medieval castles and churches, and above all the turquoise and blue color variations of the pure Adriatic Sea. Immerse yourself in nature during a relaxing boat ride around the Bay of Kotor leading to the picturesque island of Our Lady of the Rocks, and the next day walk down the marble streets of Dubrovnik until you see the breathtaking pristine blue shore of the Adriatic. In Split, observe the peristyle of the Diocletian’s palace built in the 4th century, and discover the Temple of Jupiter in the central square of the imperial complex. As a treat toward the end of the tour, you will explore Plitvice Lakes National Park, discovering 16 interconnected lakes with emerald green and aquamarine variations in color.
