Day 2: London

See the Signature Sights in Style

Departing with a private guide and driver, you’ll set out on a half-day tour to experience the highlights of London, with opportunities to see many of the iconic sights of this global metropolis. Discover the West End, home to some of the world’s most prolific theaters, where you’ll pass by the renowned Royal Albert Hall before traveling through the City of Westminster and the City of London, the oldest part of the capital, and home to the financial district. See Marble Arch, historically used for royal processions, as well as the serene Hyde Park, with its lively Speakers’ Corner. Stop at Buckingham Palace, home of the Queen and site of the daily ‘changing of the guards’, an icon of British pageantry. View Harrods in Knightsbridge, and renowned squares like Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square with Nelson’s Column. You’re welcome to discuss with your guide if there’s a sight of particular interest that you’d like to view during your tour.

This service includes the entrance ticket to St Paul's Cathedral.

St Paul's Cathedral is the Anglican cathedral on Ludgate Hill, in the City of London, and the seat of the Bishop of London. The present building dates from the 17th century and is generally reckoned London’s fifth St Paul's Cathedral, although the number is higher if every major medieval reconstruction is counted as a new cathedral. The cathedral sits on the highest point of the City of London, which originated as a Roman trading post situated on the River Thames. The cathedral is one of London's most visited sights.

Day 3: London

A Healthy Dose of History

Meet your private guide and driver and embark on a full day tour to Hampton Court and Windsor Castle. You’ll first set your sights on the 16th century Hampton Court Palace, driving via the royal Richmond Park where if you’re lucky, you may catch glimpses of deer on the way. Arriving when Hampton Court Palace opens its doors, you’ll enjoy a visit of both the palace and gardens. Described as 'The Greatest Palace in Britain', Hampton Court has 500 years of history within its walls. Set in 60 acres of gardens, the palace was the center of Royal life from Henry VIII to George II. The palace houses some of the finest paintings from the Royal Collection, with art from the 16th, 17th and early 18th centuries on display. From there, head to Windsor via Runnymede and pass the site where the Magna Carta was signed in 1215. In the afternoon, you’ll arrive to Windsor Castle where you’ll be dazzled with a visit of what's amazingly both the oldest and the largest occupied castle in the entire world. The castle's dramatic site encapsulates 900 years of British history. It covers an area of 26 acres and contains, as well as a royal palace, a magnificent chapel and the homes and workplaces of a large number of people. The magnificent State Apartments are furnished with some of the finest works of art from the Royal Collection, including paintings by Rembrandt, Rubens, Canaletto, and Gainsborough. Afterward, take a panoramic drive around Windsor, passing Eton College before returning to London.

Important note:

Unlike your other admissions, admission tickets for Hampton Court specifically must be printed in advance, and are therefore provided upon arrival in your Welcome Package. Please ensure you bring them along with you on your tour today.

Day 5: Paris

Marching through the Museum

Meet your private guide out front a cafe just steps away from the world famous Louvre Museum, housed within the largest palace in all of Europe. With an astonishingly rich collection of art ranging from Ancient Greece all the way to the 19th century, the Louvre is arguably unmatched. Witness Da Vinci's timeless The Mona Lisa, the statues of Venus de Milo and the Winged Victory of Samothrace, both over 2,000 years old dating back to ancient Greece, and the 4,600-year-old Great Sphinx of Tanis, a relic of the Egyptians. See Eugene Delacroix's iconic 17th century Liberty Leading the People representing victory by the people in the French Revolution, and check out the original Code of Hammurabi, a legal code depicted on a black basalt tablet shaped like an index finger, which dates back to a time just under 4,000 years ago. Bear witness to incredible history at the Louvre. Return to your hotel independently.

Join a small group transfer this evening to the edge of the Seine River where you'll board one of the elegant Bateaux Parisiens boats for a 2.5 hour candlelight dinner-dance cruise. As the boat navigates the Seine, admire the bridges and main monuments along the river's edge, wonderfully illuminated by special lights. Your 3-course gastronomic meal will be served in a pure French traditional style, including a glass of Champagne, a choice of starter, main course, and tasty dessert, as well as a coffee and selected Chablis wines. A 3-piece band and a singer bring the energy up, giving you an opportunity to dance on the dance floor. The refined decor, tables next to the window and musical entertainment will provide for an unforgettable evening. Conclude the experience with a return transfer to your hotel.
