The Mohare Danda Trek is a new trekking route located in Annapurna’s foothills and is the perfect substitute to the overcrowded Ghorepani – Poonhill trek. The Mohare Danda trek takes an alternative route up from Pokhara to Banskharka and on to Nangi and finally Mohare. Mohare itself is located along the world’s deepest gorge at an elevation of 3300m, which is why this trek will provide you with the best panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges respectively. The trekking trail passes by the dense forests and the path covered by snow. The highlight of the trail towards Mardi Himal can be the view of Annapurna Base Camp. It’s below the ridge. This unique trekking provides never seen before viewpoints to observe the Annapurna Himalayan ranges and other mountains around it. The usual Annapurna Trekking would take you to the south face and western face. Finally, this trekking takes you to the eastern face of the Annapurna. Day 1: Kathmandu Airport Arrival
After your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in our capital city Kathmandu, you will be warmly greeted by one of our team members and transferred to your hotel. After check in and some refreshments, our senior Sherpa guide will come to meet you and give you a brief orientation about Mohare Danda Trek. You can then go for a stroll down some of the lively streets to get familiar with the area, and have a bite to eat. Overnight at hotel at Kathmandu.
Day 2: Drive to Pokhara 6hrs.drive or/fly to Pokhara 30 mins. flight

Overnight at Pokhara
After breakfast, we leave our hotel early in the morning for a drive with scenic views along the road to Pokhara via the Prithivi national highway. The drive could take roughly 7-8 hrs to reach Pokhara. We can also take the option of travelling from Kathmandu to Pokhara by plane which takes far less time, 35 minutes. We then stay overnight at our hotel in the lovely ‘City of Lakes’, Pokhara.
Day 3: Drive to Galeshwor(1170m.) and trek to Bans Kharka(1525m.) – 3 hrs walk

After breakfast, we have a three-and-a-half-hour drive to Galeshwor along the banks of the Kali Gandai river. After lunch, we will begin our hike to Bans Kharka. It is roughly a 3 hour ascending hike where you will also get the chance to cross the suspension bridge over the Kali Gandaki Gorge, one of the world’s deepest. . Overnight at Bans Kharka.
Day 4: Trek to Naangi(2230m.) – 7 hrs walk
After enjoying breakfast, we will begin our trek to Nangi. It is about 6-7 hours walk from Bans Kharak where you will encounter beautiful villages, stunning views of mountainous landscapes. We will also visit an organic farm school and the Magar settlement on this day. We will again stay in community lodge accommodation with full board meals.
Day 5: Trek to Mohare Danda(3300m.) – 7 hrs walk
Today’s trail goes through beautiful forests of Oak and Rhododendrons with magnificent views of mountains such as Machapuchare (Fishtail), south Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Tukche and many more. In the evening, the glorious sunset from Mohare hill station will be just reward for the long trekking. Overnight stay is at a community lodge with full board meals.
Day 6: Trek to Ghorepani (2750m.) via Poon Hill( 3210m.) 5 to 6 hrs walk
Today we will again be passing through more forests of Rhododendron on our way to Ghorepani. The spectacular views of the Annapurna range are in full-view at Poon Hill, making the climb to get there well worth it. Overnight stay in Ghorepani is at a lodge with full board meals.
Day 7: Trek to Ghandruk village(1900m.) – 5 hrs walk
Overnight at Ghandruk with all meals included.
We will be crossing varying terrain which will include flatlands, forests, cultivated lands and also another suspension bridge at Khumnu Khola. At the pristine & serene village of Ghandruk you will witness breath-taking views of Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, Machhapuchhare and Hiunchuli. There are several hotels and teahouses at the village and you are certain to receive a warm welcome with customary Nepalese hospitality. If you camp in its terraced fields give you are sure to experience feelings of adventure!
Day 8: Trek to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara hotel – 4 hrs walk
Overnight at hotel includes breakfast.
Today is the last day of your trek. After breakfast, we ascend to Nayapul, about a 5 hour walk, following a trail paved by stones; we walk through some more beautiful villages. After crossing Modi Khola, we reach Birethanti. And then half an hour from Birethanti, we enter Nayapul. From here, we can easily access any means of transportation to drive to Pokhara. In the evening, you are free to wander by the lakes of Pokhara.
Day 9: Drive back to Kathmandu

While driving from Pokhara to Kathmandu, we head up to Damauli, Dumre, Mugling and Kurintar where Nepal’s first Cable car is operated to reach Manakamana Temple, this is a temple where most Nepalese come to have their wishes granted before leaving home or getting married. From Naubise we climb up to Thankot, the gateway to Kathmandu and finally reach our hotel & a lovely soft warm bed. Overnight in Kathmandu hotel includes dinner.
Day 10: Departure Day

After breakfast and our last day in Kathmandu, our vehicle and escorts will be on standby to drop you to the international airport three hours before our scheduled flight back home. We hope to see you again someday.
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
A warm welcome to you in Kathmandu a city of god and goddess. A representative will pick you up from the airport and take to your hotels. You can see winding backstreets, bustling markets, extravagant temples, and magnificent places while traveling from the airport to your hotel. Once you check into the hotel, you can plan for your evening schedule. Like, walk at tourist hub-Thamel, you can have your choices of a meal or typical Nepali dishes as well. Explore your first evening in Kathmandu with a thrilling roost of a traditional bicycle ‘Rickshaw.’
Day 2: Explore Kathmandu

Early in the morning, you can feel like a local on walking tour of Kathmandu with a unique atmosphere. You will see Buddhist and Hindu devotees at the city’s most famous temples (listed in UNESCO World Heritage Sites). Our leader will guide you towards several incredible sights around the Kathmandu Valley on the day. At Evening, you can have your dinner at your own choice or in the hotel.
Day 3: Move to Pokhara

Pokhara is known to be a tourism capital of Nepal. After breakfast, you will start your journey towards Pokhara. On the way, Trisuli River will follow you along with its traditional villages in the bank and terraced fields.
After arrival in Pokhara, check into your hotel and then move out to explore the lakeside. Phewa Lake in Pokhara is famous for its picturesque beauty and serenity. It is a perfect place to experience the stunning reflection view of Macchapuchhare, Annapurna, and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. Pokhara is surrounded by magnificent mountains, thick forest, spouting rivers, lakes and also a starting spot for many trekking routes in Nepal.
Day 4: Drive up to Kande and trek to Pothana from Kande

After breakfast, you will drive for an hour from Pokhara to the starting point of the trek.
With a magnificent view of mountains at the Australian Base Camp, you will have lunch. Then, you will move to Pothana (6397 ft. / 1950 m.) for your first night’s accommodation. You will be mesmerized with a fantastic view of Machhapuchare.
Day 5: Pothana to Forest Camp

Today, you will start our journey to the Forest Camp. On the way, you will enter to spellbind forest covered with rhododendron, beautiful whistling of birds, and many more miraculous sceneries. It will be the great experience of walking in the jungle with a fresh breath and pure environment, leaving all of your busy schedules behind.
Day 6: Continue the trek to Badal Danda (5 hours)

As you start to climb towards Badal Danda (Cloud Peak) from forest camp, you will experience the tree ferns, mosses, and orchids hosted by the giant trees. The trail will show so many natural interiors of the forest where woods look onto breathtaking panoramas towards Hiunchuli and pass over the Annapurna South. To your left, you will see a beautifully broad range view of Modi Khola Valley.
Reach your day’s destination and have your lunch. You will spend your afternoon on the adaptation of altitude. In the clear weather, you can see the spectacular northern view of Mount Fishtail close enough to your eye.
Day 7: Trek to High Camp

This trail goes along small winding paths with a short steep climb and the landscape changes into a rugged high mountain landscape which leads to High Camp. Reach high camp by lunchtime and spend your rest time at afternoon with stunning panorama view of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Machhapuchare close enough to touch.
Day 8: High Camp to Mardi Himal Base Camp and hike back to Middle Camp

After enjoying the sunrise and your early breakfast, you will head off for Mardi Himal Base Camp enjoying the dynamic Mountain View and another view as well. The trek will be 7 hours so you will be taking a packed lunch as there is not any place to eat on the way. The grassy land turns into a rocky, glacial area and high mountains. Enjoy your lunch pack along with a magnificent view of Mardi Himal, Annapurna I and panorama view from Dhaulagiri to Ganesh Himal.
As there is no way to spend overnight, you will come back to Middle camp for your night accommodation.
Day 9: Trek to Kalimati
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
After your warm breakfast, you will start walking descending 5249 ft. (1600 m.) Along by the side of the forest again leaving terraced fields behind. You will trek down to siding through different routes to upper Mardi Khola, stream once the bank of ice and snow. On the same way, you will follow many old villages with traditional houses and tea gardens; your exploration now finds the friendly communities into Kalimat for your overnight accommodation.
Day 10: Trek to Lwang Village
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
After breakfast at a siding, you will start your walk towards Lwang Village through the various river valley. You will be able to capture your trek memories in Tamang and Gurung. Finally, you are now at Lewan Village, a spot for organic tea gardens. Spend overnight in your unique and authentic homestay.
Day 11: Drive to Pokhara
Meals: Breakfast and Lunch
An easy walk in the tea garden with mountain views will take you to the road, and you will travel back to Pokhara.
Day 12: Drive back to Kathmandu
Meals: Breakfast and Dinner
After breakfast, proceed to the tourist bus park to take a bus to Pokhara. After 7-hours drive, you will arrive at Kathmandu and enjoy free time for shopping. We will provide a farewell dinner to you and overnight at hotel.
Day 13: Depart Kathmandu

Finally, it’s time to say farewell Nepal. You can enjoy your last moments in Kathmandu and collect souvenirs. A representative will take you to the Airport for your return flight. It’s good to be at the airport at least two hours prior.
