Itinerary: Sailing Croatia - Dubrovnik to Split

Day 1 Dubrovnik/Adriatic Sea

Arrival day. Join the group at 4pm for a welcome meeting and safety briefing before beginning the sailing journey to Split. Enjoy a nightcap with crew mates on the boat and get to know fellow passengers.

Arrive at the meeting point before 4pm for an important group meeting where you will meet the Chief Experience Officer (CEO), skipper, and the other group members. The boat will be departing soon after the arrival meeting. On our Croatia sailing trip the G Adventures Skipper/CEO will help you make a food kitty, where 500 HRK (Croatian Kuna) per person, per week will be added to the kitty for small food items on board to cover breakfasts, lunches and the odd dinner. Breakfasts and lunches are prepared by yourself, and most dinners are taken ashore at local restaurants.

Day 2 Adriatic Sea

While traveling the Dalmatian coast by sailboat, explore ancient Roman ruins and discover secluded beaches. Opt to hike through the national park in Mljet that inspired Odysseus for years or take a tour of the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Dubrovnik, which offer insight into Croatian culture and architecture. Anchor in the quiet bay of Milna, Hvar, and opt to experience the vibrant night life on land. Explore the beaches as the tide comes in and shifts their shape. Enjoy free time to explore the Mediterranean port town of Dubrovnik. The city boasts plenty of churches, monasteries, fountains, and plazas to discover.

Day 7 Adriatic Sea/Trogir

Weigh anchor early morning for the last passage to Trogir. Before crossing the Brač Channel, find a picturesque inlet to enjoy lunch before entering the marina in Trogir. Enjoy the last night aboard, or join the rest of the group for an optional group dinner in Split while reminiscing about the epic journey through the Adriatic Sea.

Day 8 Trogir/Split

Disembark the ship in the morning after breakfast. Then, enjoy an included transfer from Trogir to the Hotel Corner in Split where the tour ends on arrival. If you would like extra time in Split after the sailing journey is finished, we recommend booking extra time.

After disembarking the ship there will be an included group transfer from the marina in Trogir to the Hotel Corner in Split.

Day 1: Embarkation In Dubrovnik (Gruz harbor)

Meals: Evening Meal

Embarkation starts from 11:00 onwards. Meanwhile you will be served a welcome drink and a snack, and get a chance to meet your Cruise Director and the crew of "Adriatic Pearl". Day 2: Dubrovnik - Korcula

In the morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to the Old Town gate where you will be joining a guided tour of Dubrovnik. Our local expert will show you around this fascinating world-known landmark, an ancient town protected by 13th century fortifications. In the early afternoon, we will depart for the island of Korcula, on the way to Korcula we will have a short stop for swimming and relaxing on one of the beautiful Elafiti Islands. Lunch will be served on board before the late afternoon arrival to Korcula. After arrival, the guide will take you for a walk around the town of Korcula. Day 3: Korcula - Pucisca (Island Of Brac) – Omiš

After breakfast, you will set sail towards the Island of Brac, passing through the scenic Peljesac channel, around the tip of Peljesac peninsula and the southeastern tip of the Island of Hvar. Weather permitting, the captain will drop the anchor on the way for a refreshing swim in a secluded bay, after which you will continue your journey towards Pucisca. Pucisca is nested in a beautiful bay on the island of Brac, surrounded by stone quarries that yield some of the whitest and best quality limestone in the world. After docking at Pucisca, you can join a short visit to a stonemasonry school nearby where you will learn of the Brac limestone, their centuries-old tradition of stonemasonry and the unconventional tools they use before we continue our journey to Omis where we will rest for the night. Day 4: Omiš - Split - Excursion Skradin, Sibenik And Trogir

Meals: Breakfast and Evening Meal

After breakfast, you will join our excursion to Sibenik, Skradin and Trogir. Leaving Omis ride by coach through the Sibenik hinterland to Skradin. Skradin is situated on the upper end of Krka estuary on the entrance to National Park, free time for exploration. After Skradin we will make a short stop in the town of Sibenik with an orientational guided tour of the old town of Sibenik. We will then make another quick stop in Trogir. Except for the green parks the entire island is occupied by spectacular constructions of stone-houses, palaces, churches, monasteries, towers, walls etc. You will have free time to pay a visit to the main attraction in Trogir - the Cathedral of St. Lawrence which is probably the finest example of sacral architecture in Croatia. Finally, we will be arriving to Split Old Town and you can join an optional walking tour with the local guide who will show you monumental Diocletian Palace which was built over 1700 years ago. Later you can just join locals enjoying a cup of coffee on their much beloved seaside promenade. *Split Walking Tour - walking tour package

Day 5: Split - Hvar (Island Of Hvar) - Vela Luka (Island Of Korcula)

Today you will be sailing towards Hvar, known as the sunniest island in Croatia, famous for its endless fields of lavender and rosemary, its beautiful coast and lovely historical towns. Your destination is the town of Hvar, a town of immense beauty that buzzes with vibrant energy in the summer sun. After an optional guided walking tour of Hvar we will set sail to Korcula Island. Along the way we will stop for a swim near the beautiful 'Pakleni otoci' islands, known for the very warm sea. After the swimming break Dalmatian fried fish will be served for a snack. Day 6: Vela Luka (Island Of Korcula) - Pomena (Island Of Mljet) - Slano

Thursday morning after leaving stunning beauty of Vela Luka your captain will hand pick a bay where he will drop the anchor and you can swim in the crystal blue Adriatic, surrounded by pine trees and the sound of crickets. After the swim break you will continue sailing to Pomena on the island of Mljet. The island of Mljet, on its western side, houses National Park Mljet, known for its immense beauty and its two turquoise salty lakes surrounded by thick forest. Upon arrival, you will have plenty of free time to explore the park individually, for example, by renting bikes and cycling or jogging on the numerous paths around the lakes or in the forests. If you feel like just relaxing you can hop onto the small boat that will take you to a tiny island on one of the lakes, where you can discover a monastery and a church of St. Mary's built in the 12th century and enjoy a cup of coffee with the view and the quiet. In the late afternoon, we will depart towards Slano. **Optional excursion: Mljet National Park, free time in the National park

Day 7: Slano - Dubrovnik

Meals: Breakfast and Lunch

Accommodation: Overnight Dubrovnik - Gruž Harbour cruise cabin stay in the Adriatic Pearl

After breakfast, you are free to take an optional guided tour 'Taste of Dalmatia' - you will visit Ston, small town famous for its 5 km long city walls (the longest in Europe) and visit local winery where you will have opportunity to taste some of the finest Dalmatian wines. Later, we set sail to Dubrovnik and cruise beneath Dubrovnik City Walls and then to the port of Gruz. **Optional excursion: Taste of Dalmatia

Day 8: Dubrovnik

Meals: Breakfast

After your last breakfast on board disembarkation is at 9 a.m. It is time to say farewell to your fellow travellers, your Cruise Manager and the crew of M/S Adriatic Pearl.
