This Uganda safari package is a journey through beautiful scenery to some of Uganda’s most prominent parks like Murchison Falls National Park, Kibale National park, Queen Elizabeth National park and Bwindi impenetrable National park.

Itinerary: 9 Days Uganda Primate And Wildlife Adventure Safari

Day 1: Travel to Murchison falls game park – Rhino Tracking

Meals: Breakfast

Accommodation: Pakuba safari lodge

After your breakfast, prepare for pick up by your safari guide/driver to begin your journey to Murchison falls national park with a stop at the Rhino Sanctuary to track the white Rhinos. Continue with your journey to Murchison falls national park after lunch.

Upon your arrival, you will check into your safari lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning game drive – boat ride to the bottom of the falls – hike to the top of the falls.

Meals: Breakfast

Accommodation: Pakuba safari lodge

Wake up to an early morning breakfast or you can decide to have a packed breakfast to have during the game drive. The early morning game drive gives opportunity for great game viewings. Return to the lodge for lunch and later set out for the afternoon launch Cruise along the Victoria Nile to the bottom of the falls with great viewings of the aquatic wild including hippos, Nile crocodiles and aquatic birds. At bottom of falls, you will take pictures and get off the boat to begin your hike to the top, giving you a full view of the mighty Murchison falls together with Uhuru falls. You will meet the driver at the top of the falls who will transfer you back to the lodge for dinner and overnight after viewing and taking plenty of pictures of the world’s most powerful falls.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale forest national Park

Meals: Breakfast

Accommodation: Kibale forest camp

Check out of the safari lodge after breakfast and transfer to Kibale National Park, home to man’s closest relative. You will have a lunch stop and then proceed with your journey to Kibale Forest National Park where you will check into your booked safari lodge upon arrival for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: F/B

Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking Kibale - Bigodi nature walk

Meals: Breakfast

Wake up to an early morning breakfast and transfer to the park offices for briefing into your chimpanzee tracking experience. Return from your adventure with man’s closest relative for lunch at your lodge. After lunch you will set out to Bigodi for an awesome nature walk. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: F/B

Accommodation: Kibale forest camp

Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Game Park

Meals: Breakfast

Accommodation: Bush lodge

After breakfast, check out of the lodge and head to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will get to the park in time for lunch. After lunch, refresh and later set out for an evening game drive while enjoying the breathtaking scenery of beautiful landscape and a glimpse of the Rwenzori ranges. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Early Morning game drive – afternoon boat on Kazinga channel

Meals: Breakfast

Accommodation: Bush lodge

Wake up to an early morning breakfast or you can decide to pack yours and have it during the game drive. This time of the day gives one opportunity for a great game viewing as animals tend to be more active during this time, the cats normally hunting and the other animals get up to graze. After your 2-3 hours game viewing, return to the lodge for some time of relaxation and later have lunch. Set out for an exciting boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel that joins Lake Edward and Lake George. The channel attracts a plethora of wildlife including: Hippos, Buffaloes, Elephant, Crocodiles and lots of water birds that align the shores of Kazinga channel with the most breathtaking sight. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Ishasha- Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest

Meals: Breakfast

Accommodation: Rushaga gorilla camp

After breakfast, you will check out of the safari lodge and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park, driving through the Ishasha sector for a chance to see the tree climbing lions. After Lunch, continue with your drive to Bwindi and upon arrival, you will check into your booked safari lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Gorilla tracking – Batwa community walk.

Meals: Breakfast

Accommodation: Rushaga gorilla camp

After your breakfast, you will transfer to the park offices for briefing into what to expect during your Gorilla tracking/trekking activity. With your packed lunch you will set out into the forest to look for the gentle giants, you will be allowed one hour of viewing and taking pictures and your great achievement of trekking/tracking Mountain Gorillas will be rewarded by a signed Gorilla tracking/trekking certificate with your name on it to show to family and friends. Return to the lodge for refreshments and a few minutes of relaxation before you get into the Batwa community walk, a people indigenous to the Ituri forest of Congo. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Transfer back to Kampala/ Entebbe

Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast, check out of the safari lodge and exit the park to begin your journey back to Kampala. First stop will be made for lunch and final stop will be at the Equator point for pictures and a chance for you to do some shopping at the many craft markets at this point. Proceed to Kampala/Entebbe to your drop off location.
