Day 1: Depart USA
Your fascinating journey begins with your flight to Amsterdam via Frankfurt.
Day 2: Arrive in Amsterdam (Netherlands)

Welcome to the Netherlands! You’ll be greeted at the airport and transferred to the ship. Once on board, check into your cabin and explore the cruise ship prior to dinner and an information briefing. MS Bellejour
Day 3: Amsterdam
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
With its characteristic canals surrounded by narrow, low, and crooked 17th-century houses, Amsterdam is without a doubt, one of the most charming capital cities in Europe. With a rich cultural life and a wide range of entertainment, Amsterdam is a full-scale city, which has managed to retain its small-town feel. Your morning city walking tour will introduce you to all the major highlights including Anne Frank’s House, the marketplace, and the many canals that crisscross the city. Return to the ship for lunch. The balance of the day is at leisure to explore the city further. You may consider an optional Zaanse Schans Windmill tour where you will have a chance to view Dutch clog making and enjoy a taste of famous Dutch cheeses. Enjoy a welcome cocktail and crew introduction before dinner.
Day 4: Rotterdam (Netherlands)
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
This morning explore one of the world’s largest harbors and commercial ports in the world! Your walking tour includes the harbor front, the docs and shipyards filled with thousands of containers, and the steamship “Rotterdam”, once the flagship of the Holland America Line. Later today, set sail for Germany.
Day 5: Cologne (Germany)
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Welcome to Germany! Enjoy the passing vistas while at sail. Your afternoon walking tour will include the Haymarket, Festival Halls, Town Hall, Jewish Baths, Old Market, and Cologne’s the Dom, the remarkable Gothic cathedral whose construction began in 1248 and was only completed in 1880! Return to the ship for dinner followed by a musical evening in the lounge.
Day 6: Koblenz/Ruedesheim (Germany)
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Enjoy a delightful walking tour of the Old Town including St. Castor’s Basilica, the Monument of Emperor Wilhelm I, and the town’s landmark, the “Schängel” Fountain. This evening, get ready for a fun “Pirate’s” dinner followed by an optional Ruedesheim walking tour through this ancient town of timber houses and cobblestone streets dating back to the 1500s with a wine tasting included!
Day 7: Mannheim/Speyer (Germany)
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Located on the confluence of the Rhine and Neckar rivers, this industrial city is home to Mercedes Benz and many other major corporations. You may consider an optional tour to the Heidelberg Castle, where you’ll travel to one of the oldest and most famous university towns of Germany. Heidelberg is also one of the country’s most endearing small cities, famous for its historical baroque center, spirited student atmosphere, beautiful riverside setting, and ancient bridge crossing the Neckar River. The impressive hilltop castle is also home to the largest wine barrel in the world, holding over 220,000 liters of wine! Later, enjoy a walking tour of Speyer. The resting place of eight Holy Roman Emperors and German Kings, the Speyer Cathedral, founded in 1030 is one of the most significant examples of Romanesque architecture in Europe and was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site!
Note: Depending on sailing conditions, Speyer may be substituted with a stop in Worms where a walking tour will be included.
Day 8: Strasbourg (France)

Welcome to France! Begin your tour with a drive past the Palace de la Republique, Orangerie, EU Parliament, and the Cathédrale Notre-Dame. Afterwards enjoy a walking tour with unique views of half-timbered houses and impressive European institutions. This evening, enjoy the Captain’s Farewell Dinner!
Day 9: Mainz (Germany)/USA

After breakfast, bid your crew goodbye and disembark the cruise ship. Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the US full of memories from your incredible journey.

Willkommen to Berlin! Take it all in - our spirits will be at an all-time high as we do our meet ’n greets with our fellow travellers and Trip Manager. Once we’ve ticked off those all-important sights, we’ll get to know each other better over a delicious dinner.

It’s the last day of the year, and how you spend it is up to you; step back in time and see the city in a different light on a Berlin historical walk, or delve into the city’s esteemed creative scene. Tonight, we’ll head to Brandenburg Gate to bring in the new year with our crew and believe us, this will be a night you’ll never forget.
