Natural wonders and majestic scenery are mixed with plenty of time to relax and enjoy the midnight sun - all the more enjoyable aboard Fred. Olsen’s Black Watch. Start your cruise with an overnight stop in Iceland’s amazing capital, Reykjavik, to perhaps enjoy the Blue Lagoon, before heading to Greenland. Cruising stunning fjords such as Torssukatak, Tunulliarfik and Tasermiut will astound you, before returning home via the fascinating city of Belfast. |

Arrive early in Iceland’s capital - ‘the land of ice and fire’ - from mighty glaciers to the steaming geothermal pools of The Blue Lagoon. Home to a number of museums, galleries and exhibitions and boasting an impressive array of cafes, restaurants and bars, there is so much to enjoy in this vibrant and picturesque city.
Day 6 At sea
Day 7 Cruising Prins Christiansund - Cruising Torssukatak, Greenland
Navigating one of Greenland’s most scenic inland passages means threading the needle through the glaciers and narrow granite cliffs of Prins Christiansund. Later, we glide between the huge sea-cliffs, soaring mountains and picturesque traditional settlements of one of Greenland’s most beautiful waterways on a scenic cruise through the incredible Torssukatak Fjord.
Day 8 Qaqortoq
Qaqortoq was founded by Norwegian traders in 1775 and it retains some beautiful colonial buildings from that time. Explore the town centre, home to an ancient fountain, the charming Church of Our Saviour and two museums. Ship to shore tender service.
Day 9 Narsarsuaq - Cruising Tunulliarfik Fjord
Narsarsuaq Glacier is an impressive frozen formation that grows out of Greenland’s sheet ice - the inland ice provides the best views. Later this evening we sail through the stunning Tunulliarfik Fjord with its picturesque traditional settlements and snow-topped mountain peaks, and you may spot seals and whales here.
Day 10 Nanortalik - Cruising Tasermiut Fjord
Nanortalik is Greenland’s most southerly town - nicknamed the ‘Place of Polar Bears’. If you’re a lover of nature and all its wonders, this beautiful island is the place to visit. Later, we sail in the stunning Tasermiut Fjord, with imposing cliffs, crystal-clear rivers, blue glaciers and majestic icebergs.
Day 11-13 At sea
Day 14 Belfast, Northern Ireland
This stylish and cosmopolitan city gives you a friendly welcome from the moment you arrive. Filled with mouth-watering restaurants, museums in abundance and famous for being the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, Belfast offers visitors the chance to visit the Harland and Wolff shipyard and the fascinating Titanic Experience.
