Itinerary: 5 Days - Gallipoli & Troy

Day 1 Gallipoli Battlefields Tour

Meals : Breakfast & Lunch

According your pick up time meet your guide and drives on a comfortable road system for approximately 4 hours. Today you visit ANZAC Battlefields visiting Brighton Beach, ANZAC Cove, Beach Cemetery, Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Turkish and allied tunnels and trenches at Johnston’s Jolly, 57th Regiment Turkish Memorial and Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial. After tour transfer you to your hotel. Overnight in Canakkale.

Day 2 Troy - Pergamum Tour

Meals : Breakfast & Lunch

Upon breakfast at the hotel check out and start your full-day tour and visit Troya Archeological Site where we see the UNESCO recognized ruins of the Ancient kingdom of Troy. We stroll through the site where many worldwide used terms like the Trojan War, Trojan Horse, Helen of Troy, Prince Paris comes from, Battle between Archilles and Hector, Walls of Troy II and Megaron House, The Ramp of Troy II, Roman bath, Odeon, The Temple of Athena and Ruins of Athena. After lunch drive to Pergamum; When John wrote his letter, Pergamum had been a capital city for almost four hundred years. After the mythical times, Pergamum had been the scene of several cultures, ranging from those of the Stone and Bronze Ages until the Archaic and Classical Periods. Among the temples, palaces and agora’s, the Asklepion, which were constructed in the course of one century, belonged the big Zeus Altar and the Parchment Library There you explore the impressive Acropolis, the actual ancient city and see the Altar of Zeus which is mentioned as the throne of Satan’, Temple of Trajan and the third biggest library of antiquity, next; visit the ruins of Asklepion; it was known under the name of "The Pergamum God of Health". Asclepius the deity health and medicine served the people for several hundred years; thus making Pergamum a medical center of very great importance. Famous medical Scholars, like Hippocrates and Galenus, were born in Pergamum and worked there. At the end of the tour drives to Kusadasi. Check-in. Overnight in Kusadasi.

Day 3 Ancient Ephesus Tour

Meals : Breakfast & Lunch

According to your tour pick-up time meet with your guide and start your full-day tour. Visit The House of Virgin Mary; located 6km to the north of the ruins of Ephesus, a church was built from the 6C AD to the top of the foundations of a house from 1C AD and it is declared by the church to be the final house where Mary spent her last days.

Continue with the Ancient Ephesus; An Archeological treasure, The best-preserved classical city in Eastern Mediterranean. During the 1C AD, Ephesus was the second-largest city on the planet after Rome with more than 250,000 citizens. It was in the center of the known world and played the role of a gateway between the East and the West with its giant harbor, it was also the center of trading in antiquity. It was not only a rich commercial city but also the honeymoon place of Mark Anthony and Cleopatra. An impressive city, ıt is also home to one of the Seven wonders of the ancient world, Temple of Artemis. Ephesus is also so well preserved that, walking on the ancient streets among the beautiful monuments such as the third largest library of the ancient world or the largest roman theatre on the Asia continent, gives you the feeling of a time traveler.

Next; Temple of Artemis or Artemision was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Its ancient cult dedicated to Artemis was very famous in antiquity and made Ephesus a much-visited pilgrimage place. There were a total of 127 ionic columns with a height of 19m. The temple is also considered to be the earliest bank of the ancient world. At the end of the tour drive you back to your hotel. Overnight in KUsadasi.

Day 4 Pamukkale Tour

Meals : Breakfast & Lunch

Upon breakfast at the hotel check out According to your tour pick-up time meet with your guide and start your full-day tour. Visit Pamukkale; Pools of Heaven on Earth… Pamukkale has always been a very popular settlement where hot springs were believed to have healing powers so it is considered to be the earliest spa on earth where, in history, people traveled long distances in order to find a cure. The unique terraces were formed by running warm spring water at a temperature of 35 C, containing calcium bicarbonate. Today Pamukkale is declared as a world heritage site by UNESCO. Visit; the ancient city of Hierapolis which has the biggest Necropolis with 1200 gravestones in Anatolia. Also, The Sacred Pool is one of the highlights of the site. Theır shallow thermal waters ripple over a wonderful scattering of ancient roman ruins that lie beneath. At the end of the tour drive you to your hotel. Check-in. Overnight in Pamukkale.

Day 5 Bursa

Meals : Breakfast & Lunch

Upon breakfast at the hotel check out and travel to Bursa and visit The Covered Bazaar which you can find great gifts, leather clothing and silk of high quality and The Ulu Camii (mosque from Ottaman Empire) will be the first stop in Bursa. Next: Green Mosque (Yesil camii) will be visited. After tour drive you to Istanbul and drop you off to your hotel. End of our service.

Day 1 

Arrive in Istanbul

Arrival to Istanbul . Meet with English speaking assistant at the airport . Transfer to the hotel for check in .

Day 2

Istanbul

Breakfast at the hotel . Drive from your hotel to Spice Market for shopping . Free time. Then meet and proceed to take 1,5 hrs  Bosphorus Cruise excursion along the Bosphorus , that is dividing the 2 continents Asia & Europe . During the excursion you will enjoy the beauty of Istanbul , with its forest , Palaces and wooden old houses built on both continents . Lunch at local restaurant . After lunch visit  Sultanahmet Mosque  (Blue Mosque) , and the famous Hagia Sophia Free time at  Grand Bazaar.

Day 3

Istabul - Ankara

Breakfast at the hotel . Departure from the hotel to visit Topkapi Palace ( harem section entrance free is not included ) the house of the ottoman sultans . Departure from the hotel to Ankara – the capital of Turkey . Arrival to Ankara in early evening

Day 4

Ankara - Cappadocia via Salt Lake

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to the capital of Turkey with the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations with an exhibition of Palaeolithic, Neolithic, Hittite, Phrygian Urartu etc & remains and the Ataturk Mausoleum, dedicated to the founder of the Turkish Republic. Departure for Cappadocia (290 km). Along the way, visit the  underground city built by Christian communities to protect themselves from Arab attacks. The underground city preserves the stables, common rooms, meeting room and small rooms for families. Arrival in the Cappadocia region.

Day 5 

Cappadocia 

Breakfast at the hotel. Day dedicated to visiting this fantastic region with its spectacular fairy chimneys, unique in the world Goreme Valley , with its cave churches, with paintings from the 10th and 11th centuries; stop at the trogloyta village of Uçhisar , visit  Avcilar  which has a spectacular landscape, the  Derbent valley  with its curious natural rock formations and time for artisan workshops such as carpets and onyx-stones mounted on silver jewelry. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 6 

Cappadocia- Sultanhani - Pamukkale

Breakfast and departure for Pamukkale (610 km). On the way, stop to visit the Sultanhan Caravanserail, Seljuk inn from the medieval era. Continuation to. Free time in Pamukkale "Cotton Castle", unique in the world with its natural pools of limestone hot springs and the petrified travertine waterfalls. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 7

Pamukkale – Ephesus – İzmir

Breakfast at the hotel. Exit for Selçuk-Efeso (200 km). Arrival and visit to the archaeological area of Ephesus, a city dedicated to Artemis. The Odeon, the Temple of Hadrian, the House of Love, the Library of Celsus, the Agora, the Marble Street and the largest Theater of antiquity. Visit to the House of the Virgin, supposed last dwelling place of the Mother of Jesus. Stop at a leather production center and continue to Izmir (~ 85 km.), The third largest city in Turkey. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 8 

Izmir - Pergamon – Troy – Çanakkale

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for  Pergamon , the current Bergama (110 km). Arrival and visit to the ruins of  Asclepion , which was the most important hospital in Asia Minor, with its therapeutic center. Continuation to Troy (~ 190 km.). Visit to the famous archaeological city of history that evokes the poetic name of the Iliad saga of Homer. Continuation to Çanakkale (~ 25 km.). Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Overnight: Çanakkale Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Day 9 

Çanakkale – Gallipoli – Anzac Cove – Istanbul

Breakfast. We will cross Dardanelles Strait by car ferry and continue to Gallipoli Peninsula. We will visit one of the most emotionally touching places in Turkey, the WWI Battlefields of Gallipoli, including Brighton Beach, Beach Cemetery, ANZAC Cove, Ariburnu Cemetery, ANZAC Commemorative Site, Respect to Mehmetcik Statue, Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Johnston's Jolly, Turkish and Allied trenches and tunnels, 57. Regiment Turkish Memorial,The Nek,Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial. Arrival late (between 08:00 pm and 09:00 pm) to Istanbul transfer to your hotel. End of our services.

Day 10 

Istanbul Departure

Breakfast . Transfer to airport and fly home .End of our services
