Erg Chebbi Landmarks

Our Leader Hassan was excellent in every way. My plane was delayed by several hours on arrival day but Hassan stayed at the hotel until after 10.30 pm so he could greet me. I was touched by this and also pleased my airport transfer waited. Our driver Lashan was excellent too. I always felt safe with his driving and the van was kept clean at all times. A particular high-light was meeting his family and their incredible hospitality. My main highlights were Rabat, Chefchaouen, Volubilis, Essaouria and the 4WD into the desert. In general the accommodation was better than I expected with some hotels being an absolute delight. Overall the trip was great and 99% of the Moroccan people are very friendly and welcoming.
A couple of minor issues (just for general awareness) there is a fair amount of stair climbing this trip so bear this in mind if you have weak/sore knees etc. On occasions you might get people smoking right next to you in restaurants etc. I thought the visit to Meknes was a waste of time.

this trip was described as full on in the itinerary, and it was. we covered a lot of miles, there is a couple of long bus journeys - but the guide was excellent and split the journey every couple of hours with a some interesting stops. we learnt so much about Morocco on this trip, we ate local food and met local people. it really was an explore holiday. if you want to get under the skin of a country this is the trip for you

Excellent way of seeing a wide range of locations in Morocco. Lots of travel, but worth it. Tour guides knowledgeable and passionate.

Yossef, our trip leader, was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave a very personal service.

All the hotels were comfortable. What made some of them was their settings.

We loved Morocco and the trip has given us the taste for more of this wonderful country. It was a great way to see this diverse country and give us an idea of people's lives as well as seeing the tourist highlights.

Great trip! Highlights were Marrakech, cycling, and our guide (Hamid). Really enjoyed celebrating Eid during the tour, and learning more about Ramadan. The cycling was hard some days (steep inclines, strong head winds), and our group had particularly strong cyclists. Highly recommend bringing a gel seat cover, and consider an e-bike. I wish I had!
