Kathmandu Landmarks

The trip was excellent - our group had a wide age range my daughter being the youngest at 17, but we all gelled and had an absolutely fantastic time. Made even better by a stupendous lead guide in the AC/DC loving Santosh, and assisted fabulously by Prem. The views at the base camp were majestic so well worth the early 4.30am start to the trek to it!

Wonderful trip to Nepal, our guide Udaya was excellent and gave us good insight into Nepalese lives; we also saw lots of wildlife. Only thing missing was the Himalayan views, due to weather

The trek was an amazing experience, which more than met my expectations. Despite being the oldest in the group, I never felt that it was beyond me, due to the care and support provided by Alok, Suku, and Prem. The porters were also great, and the trip was well organized, very interesting and helped me fulfil a lifetime ambition. If you want to go trekking in Nepal, I would fully recommend this company. Excellent value for money and a very professional outfit.

Incredible experience of a completely different culture. The palaces and cities were interesting, but the highlights for me were all the people we met along the way: students on the train who wanted to be engineers; villagers who came over to the island when we were camping to take selfies with us; and joining in with their Holi celebrations. Raj, our tour leader, knew everyone and everyone knew Raj! He looked after us very well and we always felt safe. I felt we were able to explore the real India and Nepal in ways that we wouldn't have done if I'd planned the trip myself. Highly recommended.

Two highlight for me of this extraordinarily great trip we’re taking a long look at the wild Royal Bengal tiger sauntering in the late afternoon sun and the trip on the Ganges. We were in a flotilla of small traditional boats with the chef and crew in another following. We camped on an island in the Ganges. So original and dreamlike! Also our extraordinarily good team leader who went above and way beyond to look out for us, constantly forward planning. He helped with airline lost bags and myself and another in the party who picked up an infection. Sanjeev Gurung was an absolute professional and good company too.

We are both 80 but fit and the route was designed to be less exacting than on our last visit to the same area. This allowed ample time to look at the flowering Rhododendrons and other flowers, chat to villagers and savour life as lived in the Himalayas.
