Our Guide Manuella and driver Ashleigh were excellent.  
Some of the accommodation was not so good,  ants on some bathroom basins and bedroom benches.

Excellent coverage of all the best of the NT ,in all it's glory....the beauty  of nature, the culture of our indigenous and the vastness of the interior. Well paced, a thorough coverage of everything in the itinerary. Great accommodation, value in the single supplement and very good food inclusions.

If you book this trip you'll get a good flavor of Australia&nbsp;and New Zealand.&nbsp; What you won't have is a high quality Trafalgar tour with unique experiences.&nbsp; The tour is sold by Trafalgar, but conducted by AAT Kings, a sister company of Trafalgar.&nbsp; Simply stated, AAT Kings does not have the same attention to detail as Trafalgar.&nbsp; The itinerary changed and Hobbiton was not included despite&nbsp;it being on their&nbsp;website/marketing material.&nbsp; Several of the dinners were in hotel restaurants or conference&nbsp;rooms with other tour groups.&nbsp; Many hotels were under construction or had elevators out of order.&nbsp; We didn't get a return guest thank you gift.&nbsp; We tried to get some details on our itinerary ahead of time to book our own independent tours (like a winery&nbsp;tour) and Trafalgar was unresponsive to our requests.&nbsp; So, while we had a good vacation, it wasn't the premium experience we expected and paid for.&nbsp; I can't recommend it and I'm unsure about booking with Trafalgar again.

Contrasts of Australia and New Zealand

The two Intrepid treks I’ve been on (Peru and Papua New Guinea) are run by local people, and they took me to local places. I learnt something about locals’ lives; and the land I was visiting became richer than just scenery. I wasn’t simply looking out from the window of a bus. If you want to be immersed into the daily life of the place you’re visiting, I highly recommend Intrepid tours.
