The sights and experience was truly magnificent, hard to pinpoint as there were so many.

An extraordinary mixture of culture, history, treking, city-sightseeing
and art, with local food and mostly wonderful accomodation. Means of transport were excellent too.

and the experience on Lombok did not disappoint. In fact, it exceeded all my expectations in terms of adventure,excitement, beauty, friendships forged and memories made. I would like to make special mention of the delightful and devoted Lombok locals on the ground who made our trip so much fun and so carefree. They all went above and beyond their duty to make us feel comfortable, safe, welcome,relaxed and very special. ERNAWAN - our lovely, humble tour leader, driver and fixer for whom nothing was too much trouble. He drove us everywhere with care and precision and passed on all his knowledge about his culture and country. He went out of his way to make everything just perfect for us. SAR - our cheerful mountain guide on Mt Rinjani who smiled all day, every day, non-stop. We had so much fun and so many laughs. he helped us make informed decisions about our progress and plans and encouraged us every step of the way. he truly believed that we could do it (the climb) and passed on this motivation with a wisdom way beyond his years. he made sure all arrangements were carried out without fuss and communicated this to his friends, the porters. Sar's enthusiasm and vitality was infectious. He was the driving force behind our successful bid for the summit and I will always remember his kindness and the joy he shares with everyone on the mountain as he goes about his work. TUTTI - Sar's uncle and trekking leader/organiser. He knew just what we needed and his years of experience showed through. His staff and family are a credit to him. REPAL - our quiet, devout porter who did absolutely everything humanly possible to make us feel warm and comfortable. from cooking, preparing our camp gear and setting up great camping spots...Repal was a true gentleman. He was incredibly strong but also gentle and calm. DENIS - our other happy porter who carried all our gear as if it was a feather! I really enjoyed every meal he and Repal prepared. Despite the language barrier, we shared lots of laughs and smiles around the campsite andfireside. Sar, Repal and Denis were a mighty team and we couldn't have done any of this without their support and passion for their precious mountain village and home. It was a privilege to share the pride they have in their lovely corner of Lombok. Terima kasih, you are all great people with good hearts. Please pass on our sincere gratitude to your team and to our Lombok family for making this a very special week that will remain with me forever. I would not hesitate to recommend this trip and World Expeditions to any prospective traveller. This was my first time on an organised tour and I hope it will not be my last!

Our tour guide, drivers and support staff were excellent. I will definitely go on more World Expeditions tours due to their excellent intierary schedule and employemnt of a great local guide.

We went spectacular places, off the beaten track, I would never had been able to find on my own. Having a compassionate and professional tour guide was a huge benefit navigating all the cultural norms that would have been a mystery without translation. It was also surprisingly helpful to have someone arrange food each day. We ate really well and no one got sick. We were introduced to foods I don't think I would have found on my own. The home stays were exceptional and would have been difficult to arrange independently. Overall the trip was exceptional and an exceptional value.

The places we visited, the food we ate and the equipment World Expeditions provided were all first class. The support crew we had were extremely attentive and I could not recommend this trip any higher. Go and do it.

The way they impart local knowledge and attitudes to people and environment of the countries is a credit to your company. The way they looked after us and balanced needs of all the party were as far as we are concerned exemplary.Sincerely – two very satisfied customers!

..The WE staff and especially Dilli the tour leader were great. I can’t speak highly enough of them. Dilli was very knowledgeable, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The cook did a great job. The food was plentiful and tasty. From the time we left home until the time we got back everything ran smoothly. Even the weather was good. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Nepal and hope to get back there in the future...I have no hesitation in recommending WE to friends.

This trip I saw it through my fiancé’s eyes and it gave me such joy to see her so engaged with the culture and natural beauty of Nepal. From being a little apprehensive she has, through the whole WE and Nepalese experience, been converted to an adventure traveller. Ramesh and the team made us feel so special at Christmas and baked all of us a cake for Christmas Eve. A Christmas filled with so much joy and spirit – very special indeed.I have already started to look at the latest brochure and planning future treks and have been reading with interest about the work you have been undertaking on the camp sites in the Everest region.
