We have just returned from our Sri Lanka Adventure trip that completed on September 23, 2013 January 1970

We wanted to let you how the trip went and our feelings about Siri (sp?), our local guide and driver. Siri was the best guide we could ask for. He is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about his country and he went out of his way to show us some fantastic sites and tastes. Our trip would not have been what it was without him. Based on our experience in Sri Lanka we would not hesitate in recommending both World Expeditions to anyone. If Siri is an example of the quality of the local guides used by World Expeditions, we will be looking here first for our next trip. Thank you all for a wonderful trip in a beautiful part of the world. We cannot say enough good things about Sri Lanka in general and Siri in particular.

There was only one thing - I wished we brought some snacks. I know it was in the list but it wasn’t easy to get them over there, so you need to bring them from Australia. For the long summit day of 14 hours, chocolate/lollies etc would have been good for energy. And you need things that won’t freeze. It's pretty cold up there.
