I can not explain to friends what an amazing experience my Botswana holiday was. It exceeded all my expectations in every way. We were looked after so well  and nothing was too much trouble. Our guide Bi Bi was truly wonderful, he was so knowledgeable and made sure we got the best experience and value out of every thing we did. I could not have imagined the wealth of animal and bird life we  viewed and somehow Bi Bi knew exactly where to find it. The whole trip just kept getting better and better from the wild camping to the house boat and finally Vic Falls where a helicopter ride over the falls just completed a magical time.
One tip - only pack very light, makes the moving on and packing up so much easier in the confined space of a tent!!

Mini was amazing as the guide. It was one of the best if not best trip I’ve ever done. Also the people on the trip were wonderful as well   A super trip. I wanted to go on a safari in over thirty years in Africa and I’m so happy I went with this trip.

The trip more than fulfilled the promises in the brochure. The local organisation was excellent and the food provided at the camps was amazing considering it was cooked over an open fire. 
Our leader was friendly and knowledgeable and tried very hard to ensure that we saw the animals we had come to see. 
Travel arrangements were also good.

This is a full on authentic safari experience. Explore’s Botswana partner Wilderness Dawning give you the real thing. Rough roads, close up experience with wildlife, wild camping, knowledgeable and competent  leaders/guides, excellent camp logistics including food, and a bit of luxury at the start and end of the trip.

On the whole very satisfactory but there are a few rough edges which might need fine tuning. First some very long driving days though I don't know how this could be avoided. Secondly there was only limited facilities for charging phones and çamera batteries. I'm sure this could be rectified Chief was an excellent guide and at the same time felt like one of the group joining in the banter with a sense of humor which matched our own. Finally I have to say what a great group! Supporting each other with deeds and laughs
