We learned so much about the history, culture and people of Botswana, as well as viewing up close the most astonishing variety of wildlife imaginable - more in 2 weeks than in 5 years living in Kenya! All thanks to our outstanding guide and tour leader Bibi, who went to extraordinary lengths to ensure the comfort and safety of everyone in the group, and who was so knowledgeable about the animals, birds and habitats encountered, as well as entertaining us with stories told around the camp fire. We loved every minute of our trip and would highly recommend it to anyone with a sense of adventure, a love of wildlife, and a yearning to experience something of the wild beauty of this country. The houseboat on the Okavango River and the finale at Victoria Falls really meant that, in the words of one of our fellow travellers, this was the ‘trip that kept on giving’!

Botswana Wildlife Safari

We had a great time during this tour. There were eleven people in our group from different nationalities but we all got along very well. The wildlife sightings were absolutely amazing. My main goal on this tour was to see a leopard and wild dogs.
We got to see three leopard’s but were out of luck with the dogs.
We also were extremely lucky with our amazing tour leader Joe. After camping out for seven nights and two nights on a houseboat I thought the hotel at the end of the tour was a bit of a controversy.

Bibi - the best tour leader ever.  So knowledgeable, hard working, thoughtful, understanding and kind.

I can not explain to friends what an amazing experience my Botswana holiday was. It exceeded all my expectations in every way. We were looked after so well  and nothing was too much trouble. Our guide Bi Bi was truly wonderful, he was so knowledgeable and made sure we got the best experience and value out of every thing we did. I could not have imagined the wealth of animal and bird life we  viewed and somehow Bi Bi knew exactly where to find it. The whole trip just kept getting better and better from the wild camping to the house boat and finally Vic Falls where a helicopter ride over the falls just completed a magical time.
One tip - only pack very light, makes the moving on and packing up so much easier in the confined space of a tent!!

Mini was amazing as the guide. It was one of the best if not best trip I’ve ever done. Also the people on the trip were wonderful as well   A super trip. I wanted to go on a safari in over thirty years in Africa and I’m so happy I went with this trip.
