A reckless and wild spirited child grew up to channel that energy into becoming a strong solo traveler. Her fearless attitude has allowed her to take on many trips alone in hopes that her writing will show others, specifically young women, that you can do anything as long as you stay aware, trust your gut, and keep your guard up.
Kiana was introduced to the world of travel at a young age. Her grandma was from China, grandfather from Italy, and great grandmother from Spain. Each would share their culture, delicious foods, and ideas with her. Her diverse bloodline opened her up to a beautiful world with so much culture to offer.
Her family would take her on trips to Hawaii for vacation and being that her uncle was a professional super cross racer, would sometimes follow his family on the road to races. Her father also, against the wishes of her mother, allowed a friend from London to stay with them for a couple years. His passion was also traveling and would share his amazing travel stories from nightmare hostels in Thai Land to meditation in Budapest. He became her inspiration.
She’s traveled to Europe and met wonderful lifelong friends in England, swam in the warm waters of the Caribbean Islands, and dives with sharks yearly as family tradition on the island of Oahu.
