Siobhan Fitzgerald - Travelstride Destination Expert

Much of Siobhan's early travel experience came by visiting family. Her mother has family scattered around the United States, and the majority of her father's family lives in Ireland.

Siobhan's first experience traveling was a trip to Ireland at 10 months old. In addition to several trips to Ireland, her family also took several road trips to the east coast, spurring her interest in seeing new places.

Siobhan jumped at the opportunity to visit England and France while in college, and also spent a month in New York meeting with around 40 missions to the United Nations for a political science seminar Siobhan is always researching for her next trip, and hopes to move abroad in the future!

Siobhan's favorite trip was visiting France, and being able to see both the Bayeux tapestry and slowly make her way to the top of Mont-Saint-Michel.

Though she was with a school group that collectively spoke little French, the Norman people were extremely welcoming and thrilled to be sharing their story with American tourists.

TBD - Siobhan plans to visit all 50 U.S. states, and hopes to check off some new ones soon!

She also had tentative plans to visit Germany for Oktoberfest this year, but 2020 had other plans.
