"We've taken over 10 group tours using Cosmos and Gate1. This trip last month, 9000 was not very good. -During booking, incorrect information was given about airport-hotel transfers -The whispers (listening devices) didn't work from the get-go, so no whispers were used during the 13 day trip. - Porters are no longer hired to bring your luggage to and from your room. (Very elderly had to handle their own luggage. Our friends had to help many of them.) -A few days into the trip one couple left. At the end of the trip we found out they had covid. Cosmos did not let us know; a few people weren't feeling well and two of our friends then tested positive. -One hotel was awful and not even up to "budget" standards -Many of the stops had castles, churches... but were not included, so be sure to count that in when pricing.  don't plan to use Cosmos ever again. Gate1 is the best in my opinion. When my husband's passport was stolen, they assigned someone to go with him to the embassy, translate, etc...It was above and beyond what we expected  "

"BUYER BEWARE!!! This company has a policy that if THEY cancel your trip…THEY get to keep your money and you get a credit the company. They cancelled my first trip..found out the hard way about their policy. Booked a trip…then had left over money so booked another…which they cancelled…again. Surprisingly…this time they offered a refund, but only gave me back the money I had put down…not what was left of “my credit”. So now I am forced to do business with a company I no longer wish to, that picks and chooses when to follow their own policy!! There are plenty of other travel agencies with similar tours…don’t give these guys your hard earned money for them to keep."

  • The cinque terre might just be the most epic stretch of coastline in the world, thanks to its rainbow of cute little cliff-side houses. look at them, smiling over the water like they were painted there!

  • Eat your way through croatia’s mix of european cuisines in zagreb, with everything from fresh mediterranean seafood to italian-influenced antipasti and heavenly fried fritule doughnuts.
  • Escape city life on the chilled-out shores of lake bled in slovenia. visit a church on the tiny island in the centre of the lake and treat yourself to a slice of bled's famous cream cake
  • There's more to italy than pasta, romance and old statues (although those are pretty awesome). the cinque terre might just be the most epic stretch of coastline in the world

  • Travelling in a smaller group of like-minded people (friends!) mostly by trains (that is called a ‘responsible manner’) is the best way to move around europe
  • Now one of the world's most artistic and exciting cities, berlin has a complex history. and beer is cheaper than water here. go figure
  • Visit mauerpark in berlin, or otherwise called wall park. listen to some interesting stories of post war berlin
  • Krakow's wawel castle will blow your mind. walking through its medieval main square is like time travel
  • Find out why mariacki hejnal sounds like its cut in half. sample obwarzanki while doing that. what’s obwarzanki? well, find out in krakow!
