What travelers are saying

"An excellent trip which packed a lot into a very short time. A good introduction to Romania which left us wanting to visit the country again. Our group gelled very well and the whole adventure was great fun. Highly recommended Our tour leader Ruxi was very informative and had a friendly and professional manner. The highlight for us was to see brown bears in the wild but we also really enjoyed the castles and spectacular scenery. A few minor concerns... If anything the itinerarary was a bit too ambitious- holiday traffic meant that the journey to Transylvania took longer than expected and this meant that the hike was shunted out- a disappointment. We added an extra day to explore more of Bucharest before the trip and found this to be very worthwhile. The accommodation is rather basic but ok. We spent little time in it so it didn't really matter. We were taken to some very good restaurants in the evenings where we ate as a group and Ruxi divided up the bill with practiced efficiency."

What travelers are saying

"Our tour director Laura Pettirossi was the absolute best. She went out of her way to help all of us have the best experience possible. She was always smiling and happy. She was very knowledgeable about our surroundings and shared her knowledge with all of us. My husband and I are so happy to have had this experience with Laura and our bus driver Mauro. Mauro was a great driver. He got us through some roads that seemed almost impossible for our large bus. We would do this again with Laura and Mauro, they were the best. The tour gave us a look at most of what Italy has to offer. Bellissimo. Thank you."

What travelers are saying

"We saw so very much of Italy in the 2 weeks we were there! If you do the excursions you learn so much from the special tour guides. We are not planners so it was nice having the trip planned for us. The only improvement I would recommend would be getting to go into the Duomo and St. Marks Basilica and Doges Palace. There was limited time to do this on our own. It just means we have to go back again! There was a lot of walking, which we were fine with and everyone on our bus was able to handle. Provisions were made for anyone having a problem. Tour guide Chris was awesome and so was out bus driver Bruno. Coach bus was very comfortable."
