"BUYER BEWARE!!! This company has a policy that if THEY cancel your trip…THEY get to keep your money and you get a credit the company. They cancelled my first trip..found out the hard way about their policy. Booked a trip…then had left over money so booked another…which they cancelled…again. Surprisingly…this time they offered a refund, but only gave me back the money I had put down…not what was left of “my credit”. So now I am forced to do business with a company I no longer wish to, that picks and chooses when to follow their own policy!! There are plenty of other travel agencies with similar tours…don’t give these guys your hard earned money for them to keep."

"Sad to see a once good tour company stumble and fall into mediocrity. That’s Tauck post-Covid. My May 2023 tour of Normandy, Brittany and the Loire Valley was done on the cheap by Tauck, yet cost me thousands of dollars extra as a solo traveler on a special small-group tour.   5-star hotels switched to 3 and 4 (without any compensation or explanation)… many more meals “on your own”… lots of “self-guided” tours of museums and chateaux and castles we knew nothing about… airline quality “rubber chicken” dinners, not in hotel restaurants, but in sad and isolated business convention spaces… poorly-trained newer Tour Directors (like the one on this tour) with limited experience traveling outside her tiny Canadian village or dealing with people from diverse backgrounds. She even confessed that this was a second gig job that took her away from her own business back home! You get what Tauck pays for, but unfortunately, not what YOU pay for.   Speaking to a “Guest Relations” agent was comically pointless. She tried to make everything my fault, which I now understand is par for the course with the “new” post-Covid Tauck. Please reconsider spending huge amounts of your hard-earned money on a tour company that has lost its way and no longer delivers."

Roam the amazon jungle at night while pretending you're david attenborough (it has a calming influence). float down the river, keeping an out for the glaring eyes of jaguars and caimans
The floating islands of uros on lake titicaca seem like the sort of thing pixar would come up with. spend the night under the stars in a traditional island village
Whether you trek the classic inca trail, the inca quarrytrail or take the scenic train route, trust us, this is going to be one of the highlights of your awesome lives
Don't worry, we won't hog all of your time. you'll have plenty of opportunity to bounce around cuzco, digging deep into the pockets of incan history
The wicked witch of the west had her flying monkeys and red shoes. the witches of la paz have dried llama foetuses and alpaca blankets. while both sound imaginary, the witches' market in la paz is a true bolivian experience
