Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Croatia! We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Today is a time for leisure, to get settled in or begin exploring.  In the evening, enjoy dinner in one of the great local restaurants in Zagreb. Day 2: Today, you'll explore the city of Zagreb on a guided tour, visiting the Museum of Naïve Art, and setting off on an excursion with your guide around Zagreb's surroundings. At the town of Samobor, learn about some specialities that you can only taste in this little town, and on the way back enjoy local dinner in the countryside overlooking the green hills of Zagorje region. Day 3: Spend a full-day soaking up the spectacular Plitvice Lakes National Park, a UNESCO world Heritage Site.  Discover this breath-taking scenery of this natural wonder of 16 terraced lakes surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation. Overnight in Plitvice. Day 4: Continue down the coast to the city of Zadar, one of the best known destination in Croatia - an historic old town of Roman ruins, medieval churches, cafes and museums set on a small peninsula. Listen to sea organs play music and witness the light spectacle of the Sun Salutation while learning about this amazing town from your local guide. Sit back at dinner next to the sea, and when ready continue down the coast to city of Split, stopping off for coffee in Šibenik town, to enjoy the view across the UNESCO heritage site of Šibenik Cathedral. Overnight in Split. Day 5: Today your tour guide will take you to the palace of the Roman Emperor and through the centre of the town. Split boasts a fascinating history, having developed from this ancient palace. Walk the cobble stone streets of the town, and stroll past the waterfront with breathtaking views across the islands. Later your guide will take you to town of Trogir, set on an small island within medieval walls. It’s fronted by a wide seaside promenade lined with bars and cafes, and yachts in the summer. Trogir is unique among Dalmatian towns, known for its Romanesque and Renaissance architecture. Overnight in Split. Day 6: Continue down the coast to Pelješac peninsula, a very well-know wine region. Then, take a boat transfer to island of Korčula, a magnificent natural space, rich in vineyards, olive groves and small villages. Your guide will show you around Korčula town, including the spot where Marco Polo was believed to have been born.  In the evening, prepare to try some Korčula fine dining. Overnight. Day 7: Today you'll continue exploring the Pelješac peninsula, blessed with a spine of mountains, valleys, and fine wines. Visit one of the local wine cellars and taste some of the famous red wines, Dingac and Plavac Mali. Later continue to Ston town to see its famous wall.  Stop off for some oyster tasting, then continue on to Dubrovnik. Overnight in Dubrovnik. Day 8: Get ready to walk the city and walls on a guided tour of this UNESCO World Heritage protected city. Learn about the history that made Dubrovnik so amazing. Join the boat cruise around the walls of the city, and in the evening, enjoy traditional cuisine of the region. Overnight in Dubrovnik. Day 9: Today you'll enjoy another relaxing day in the city. Many travellers like to stay just another day in Dubrovnik, to enjoy the views, to explore, to relax on the beaches or in the sun, or to visit some of the local museums. Day 10: After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home. We hope you've had a great time, and see you soon back in Croatia!
