Highlights Tour

Day 1: Arrive in Bishkek in the early morning. Your guide will pick you up at Manas International Airport and take you to the capital of Kyrgyzstan. This entire day is dedicated to touring Bihkek, with visits to Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Dubovi Park (Oak Park), Central Ala Too Square, the National Museum of Arts, the Asian Bazaar and other interesting monuments. Day 2: Breakfast at the hotel then transfer to Chon Kemin Gorge. On the way, visit Burana Tower and an open air museum in Balbans.  After an interesting excursion atop the tower, transfer to Chon Kemin Gorge to meet a local family who will prepare a traditional lunch for you. In the afternoon, enjoy a 3-hour horseriding high in the mountains through a beautiful forest. Once at the top, admire the panoramic view of the gorge.  Overnight in a homestay. Day 3: Breakfast at the homestay then transfer to the celestial Issyk Kul Lake, aka "the Pearl of Central Asia", the second largest alpine lake in the world. Take this opportunity to observe the lake, surrounded by a mountainous backdrop. Drive along the whole Northern shore to Karakol town.  In addition, walk past the ancient stone patterns, the petroglyphs. In Karakol, visit the Dungan Mosque and an old wooden Orthodox Church. Day 4: Breakfast at the guesthouse then drive to Jeti Oguz Gorge, famous for its red rock formations, the Seven Bulls. Ascend Broken Heart Mountain, from where you can see miles of surrounding landscape. Then continue to Bokonbaeva Village and meet a local eagle-hunter. Overnight in a homestay. Day 5: After breakfast, drive along impressive mountains to the town of Naryn through the beautiful Kichi Naryn Gorge. You will enjoy the high mountains, picturesque passes and the nomadic way of life. Drive over a mountain pass named Jalpak Bel at an elevation of more than 3000 metres, and experience the variety of mountains unique to Kyrgyzstan. You might even meet authentic nomadic families on the way. Day 6: After breakfast, transfer to the Tash Rabat Caravanserai on the Great Silk Road, at the very heart of Tian Shan Mountains. It was built from stone blocks inside a mountain at an elevation of 3200 metres above sea level. There are also underground prison cells formerly used to incarcerate thieves during ancient times. Overnight in yurts nearby. Day 7: After breakfast, drive to the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan, Son Kul Lake, surrounded by mountains.  Upon arrival, explore and enjoy the calm atmosphere around the lake, used by herders in the Naryn region as a pastureland.  Dinner and Overnight at the yurt. Day 8: After breakfast, you'll have free time at the lake to explore nature at your own pace. You can opt for horseback riding or relax in the wilderness. You can also meet nomads and have a glimpse of their way of life.  After lunch, drive to the village of Kyzyl Oi right in the gorge, through the most beautiful passes, along the top of a mountain. Overnight in a homestay. Day 9: Breakfast at the homestay, then meet with the locals before driving to Bishkek.  During your transfer, witness panoramic views of Tue Ashuu pass which is more than 3000 metres high! This road is considered to be one of the most beautiful in Kyrgyzstan. Fantastic roads, amazing views, nomads, high mountains will all create some long-lasting memories of Kyrgyzstan. Day 10: After breakfast, transfer to the airport. Have a safe flight!
