Itinerary
Meals: Dinner
Arrival in Punta Arenas. Evening meeting at the hotel and welcome dinner. Overnight stay at Hotel Plaza.
Departing from your hotel at 8 pm, we’ll drive out to Punta Carrera (area of Fort Bulnes), from where we’ll board and weigh anchor at 9 pm. Setting off on our adventure, we’ll sail across the Straits of Magellan towards Isla Carlos III in the Francisco Coloane Marine Park (260 sq miles).

In the early morning we’ll navigate through Barbara channels towards the Helado Glacier. In the afternoon we’ll look for whales in the surroundings of Rupert Isle, where we´ll observe sea lions, penguins, skúas, storm petrels and albatrosses.

All the day we’ll look for whales in the surroundings of Bárbara Channel, Charles island and Rupert Isle. Sailing all night through the Magellan Strait towards the De Agostini Sound.

In the night, we enter the Magdalena Channel and the Kyats Fjord, travelling towards the De Agostini Sound. We’ll then set anchor at Angelito Bay. In the morning we’ll visit Aguila Glacier and kayaking in Bahía Angelito. On midday we departure on direction of the Serrano or De Agostini Glaciers.

In the morning we’ll visit Vergara Glacier. On midday we departure on direction of the Canal Gabriel, a narrow crossing of extraordinary beauty that leads us into Almirantazgo Sound. From here we’ll continue our journey towards Azopardo Bay to visit a colony of black-browed albatrosses. We’ll then set anchor at Parry Fjord.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Visit a colony of black-browed albatrosses in a little isle, and colony of sea elephants in Jackson Bay. We’ll then set anchor at Parry Fjord. We’ll sail into Parry Fjord to admire a spectacular glacier surrounded by the highest icy peaks of the Darwin Range.
Meals: Breakfast
We´ll navigate through Gabriel Channel towards our final destination. After disembarking we´ll be driven back to Punta Arenas to our hotel.

For all our trekking tours through the Chilean mountain world we supply TOP NOTCH EQUIPMENT. We purchase our equipment from well-known manufacturers that certify best test results even under extreme weather conditions. Among others we use brands as Northface VE 25 expedition tents, Seal-line Dry-bags and Therm-A-Rest-thermomats.
We choose our accommodations with the utmost care: we assure you neat and clean hotels and lodges while we renounce unnecessary luxury. The welcoming and warm atmosphere of the accommodations often paired with a spectacular location is what our guests appreciate the most.
For our trekking tours we found cozy mountain lodges and beautifully located camping grounds to grant our guests unforgettable all-pure-nature nights. Those overnight-stays give all our tours an even more adventurous character.
We keep the size of our traveling group’s small as only this way you get the feeling you are traveling with friends. You will be happy to share the wonderful views, the intensive experiences and all adventures a trip offers with your travel companions. Our trekking tours, soft adventure trips and expeditions are limited for only 12 people per group; individual short trips acquire at least two guests.
For all of our trips we promote highest ethical standards when it comes to the environmental IMPACT of our traveling tours. We want to increase our guest’s awareness for pure nature. Therefore we often leave the beaten path, camp out in the wilderness and limit the group size to 12 travellers. We practice the leave-no-trace-behind-principles and always respect the unique fauna and flora of the region.
Our guides make the difference! All our guides are enthusiastic trekkers, nature lovers and superb experts for the country and its people. They have a profound knowledge of the local life and tradition, speak at least two foreign languages and love to share their own passion for the destination with our guests. It goes without saying, that they are all well trained in wilderness first aid (WFR).

The client can cancel a trip at any time before the tour begins. The cancellation will go into effect on the day MOSER Active receive the cancellation in written form. In case of cancellation MOSER Active will have to charge the following listed percent of the entire travel price:
Up to 45 days of departure date: 20 percent
Between 44 & 21 days of departure date: 35 percent
Between 20 & 15 days of departure date: 65 percent
Between 14 & 7 days of departure date: 80 percent
Less then 6 days of departure date: 100 percent.
