Itinerary
The Andalucían city of Cádiz paints a beautiful picture, with its waterfront location, ancient architecture, and elegant boulevards. Spend the day exploring the oldest continuously inhabited city in Spain, perhaps by visiting the old town’s historic fortress or some of the city’s famous cathedrals, which are brimming with artwork.

Spend the day exploring the oldest continuously inhabited city in Spain, perhaps by visiting the old town’s historic fortress or some of the city’s famous cathedrals, which are brimming with artwork.
The seaside resort town of Motril has something for everyone, including unique Arab-Spanish architecture, excellent shopping, rave-worthy dining, and a charming historic corner. The sunny beaches are also worth a visit if you’re craving relaxation.
Sunny Málaga is a delightful getaway for travelers of all types. Explore the Museo Picasso to view masterpieces from the artist, who was born here. Explore Alcazaba, a 15th-century Moorish fortress. Marvel at the ruins of a Roman theater. Or, just soak up some rays—Málaga gets 320 sunny days a year.
Today, The Moana visits famous Gibraltar, the “Meeting Place of the Continents.” At just 2.25 square miles and rising to a height of roughly 1,400 feet, this famous landmark is just eight nautical miles off the northern coast of Africa and is inhabited by the Barbary apes.
The sunny Algarve region is a charming getaway, with colorful architecture, excellent shopping, and an abundance of restaurants and cafes that are the perfect places to while away warm afternoon. Sink your toes in the sand of Praia da Rocha beach, just around the corner from the marina where we’ll dock.
Feel like a king or queen in Cascais, which has been a popular getaway spot for European royalty since 1870. While the beaches are beautiful, the history of this fishing village is what really makes it special. Learn about the city’s maritime history at the Museum of the Sea, view the incredible artwork inside the town’s oldest churches, and check out the 16th-century fortress.
