Travel south to Czestochowa and view the Paulite Monastery at Jasna Góra. Dating back to the 14th century, this place of pilgrimage is home to a famous icon of the Black Madonna. Then stop to visit the poignant concentration camp at Auschwitz, a permanent reminder of the horrors perpetrated during the holocaust.
