Day 1 Join Nairobi

Please make your way to the group hotel for overnight accommodation. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2 To Tarangire National Park

This morning you will be collected from your hotel, we depart Nairobi and travel to Tarangire National Park (approx. 7 hours). Tonight we camp at a bush campsite, with the sounds of the African bush surrounding us.

Requirements
Although there is no commitment to extended walking on this journey we nonetheless want to keep the ‘accent on the active’. We therefore advise that any physical training you complete before undertaking the trip will be to good effect. Although our day walks are optional there is no shortage of advantages of packing as much into your time as possible. The fitter you are the more this will enhance your experience. Specialist gear required includes walking boots and a day pack (a comprehensive gear list is provided in the pre-departure information provided on booking).,
Travel Insurance
We require that you take out a personal travel insurance policy to cover against sickness, accident, loss of baggage, unexpected alterations to travel arrangements and travel disruption, emergency evacuation, cancellations, etc. A suggested policy is enclosed with these notes. If you take out an alternative policy, we need to be advised of the details. Please note: if you choose credit card cover, in our experience, this may not insure against high cost needs. For example; helicopter emergency evacuation. If you do decide to choose credit card coverage, please check all policy details thoroughly.
