MODERATE – GRADE 3 This is a guide walk with average daily stages of 4-7 hours. The distances in kms are listed for each stage. Each day there is a choice of a shorter and longer walk so the trip can be modified to suit your level of fitness or preferred degree of difficulty. The paths although well defined and clearly marked, have some steep sections on sometimes loose and rocky ground and through muddy areas. There are lots of ups and downs. A reasonable level of fitness is required and you should be able to read a map. As with all of our trips it is important that you are well prepared. We suggest that you undertake regular exercise – swimming, cycling, jogging, two to three times a week for three months prior to your departure Wet weather gear, sunscreen, walking boots, warm clothes, day pack and sun hat – walking sticks are recommended. (A comprehensive gear list is included in the pre-departure information provided on booking).,

For example; helicopter emergency evacuation. If you do decide to choose credit card coverage, please check all policy details thoroughly. You should always carry your travel insurance policy, emergency card and photocopies of your passport and cash cards with you during your trip.
