On this amazing 8-day Aegean Mosaic Cruise you will journey through the beautifully captivating Aegean Sea. Explore Greco Roman cities of Ephessus, Pergamon and Troy nestled on the Turkish Coast. Be captivated by the ancient civilizations, swim and snorkel in Breath taking secluded beaches and cheer after you watch the famous sunset in Oia, Santorini.

Your home base is the 36-cabin mega yacht Variety Voyager, a state-of-the-art vessel launched in 2012, surely the most stylish way to cruise the Aegean Sea.

From the urban setting of Athens to the mystical ambiance of Delphi, the Cycladic excellence of Mykonos, and the historical richness of Crete, you visit places and engage in experiences you haven’t dreamt of. Marvel at the most impressive archaeological sites, walk around the highlights of each region, and taste the richness of Greek cuisine as your kids have the time of their lives!

Itinerary: Aegean Mosaic Cruise

Day 1: Embark Istanbul

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Embarkation from Istanbul at 3pm. Begin sailing at 4:30 pm to Canakkale. Overnight at sea.

Day 2: Canakkale, Turkey

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Today you will visit the seaport town of Canakkale. Trop and Assos optional excursions is offered today. In the morning you may explore the remains of the legendary city of Troy. Troy, founded in 1300 BC, is where Achilles fought Hector as celebrated by Homer in the Iliade. Excavations started in 19th century by Heinrich Schliemann. In the afternoon, visit the old settlements of Alexandria Troa and of Assos. Late afternoon return to ship and overnight sailing to Dikili.

Day 3: Dikili, Turkey

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Morning arrival in Dikili. From there your optional excursion will take you the Greco-Roman city of Pergamon, which is famous for its Asclepion, the Acropolis, the Altar of Zeus, and the Temples of Athena, Trojan, and Dionysos and the 10,000 seat Ancient Theatre. Late evening sailing to Kusadasi. Overnight at sea.

Day 4: Kusadasi,Turkey - Samos, Greece

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Today your explorations of ancient civilizations continue with an optional tour to Ephesus, one of the greatest archaeological site in the Aegean region. As you tour this remarkably preserved Greek and Roman city, you may feel as if you’re about to encounter a toga-garbed resident, or hear a chariot clattering down the main avenue, the same avenue down which Cleopatra and Mark Anthony rode in procession more than 2,000 years ago. Free time in the afternoon for shopping in the bazaar. Afternoon sailing to Samos. Reach the quaint port of Pythagorion with an opportunity for a late afternoon swim. Overnight in port.

Day 5: Samos, Arki or Lipsi Islands - Patmos, Greece

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Morning sailing to a secluded beach on either Arkous or Lipsous Island, where you can take a relaxing morning swim. After lunch, sail to nearby Patmos. An optional Patmos excursion includes two UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the Grotto and Monastery of St. John and the historic center of the medieval town of Chora. Afternoon is spent at your leisure to discover Scala, the capital or swim at a nearby beach. Late evening sailing to Delos Mykonos. Overnight at sea.

Day 6: Delos - Mykonos, Greece

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Early morning arrival in Delos, once the capital of Greece and the mythical birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. Take an optional guided Delos walking tour where you will visit the archaeological ruins of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, unearthed here in the 19th century. Delos is a true open-air museum with many ancient monuments and buildings that are remarkably intact. After the 2 hour walking tour you rejoin the ship for a swim and deck BBQ lunch. After lunch, set sail for Mykonos. Arrival in the early afternoon to visit Mykonos town, reaching one of its famous beaches. After dinner there will be more time to enjoy Mykonos nightlife. Late night sailing to Ios island. Overnight at sea.

Day 7: Ios & Manganari beach - Santorini, Greece

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Early morning arrival in Manganari , one of the most beautiful beaches in the Aegean. Enjoy this spectacular location with plenty of time for swimming and snorkeling. Leave Manganari at lunch time and feast on the BBQ on deck. Reach Santorini after lunch and disembark for an optional afternoon excursion which will include the Akrotiri excavations, the Museum and the Villages. The tour will end in Oia on time to enjoy Oia's world famous sunset. Dinner on board. Late evening sailing to Athens. Overnight at sea.

Day 8: Disembark Marina Zeas (Athens)

Arrive to port early in the morning and disembark between 8-9:30 am.

Itinerary: 14-Day Family Trip to Athens, Delphi, Mykonos & Crete

Days 1-4: Athens & Delphi

Welcome to the historic Greek capital city! As soon as you land at Athens International airport, your private driver will welcome you and transport you to your accommodation to check-in and freshen up before seizing the rest of your day. Your first evening in Greece will include a welcome dinner full of authentic Greek flavors in a picturesque setting that will introduce you to the striking beauty of Athens, before heading back to your hotel for some much-needed rest.

Day 2 of your trip will commence with a 7-hour adventure on a ‘Best of Athens Tour with Transportation’. Visit the sacred Acropolis Hill and the modern Acropolis Museum, where your guide will captivate your kids through interactive activities and fascinating storytelling, before hopping on your private vehicle to be driven around Athens’ main attractions. Alternatively, you can opt for our family mythology tour of the Acropolis and Acropolis Museum, where you will discover in-depth the fascinating tales that surround the most significant monument in Greece.

On day 3, it’s time to experience an afternoon excursion to Sounio and the Temple of Poseidon. Drive along the stunning Athenian Riviera and enjoy a 1-hour stop for swimming -your kids are going to love- or a visit to the Stavros Niarchos Cultural Center, depending on the weather. On this tour, you’ll have the opportunity to marvel at the ruins of the Temple of Poseidon and catch the most romantic sunset in Athens, before heading back to your accommodation.

On the 4th day, you will further explore the ancient Greek civilization on a full day-trip to Delphi, the mystical region that used to be described as the ‘navel of the earth’ and the spiritual center of ancient Greece. Set on a guided tour across the impressive monuments that captivate the visitors, and see up-close the remains of the oracle of Apollo, the home of legendary Pythia.

Days 5-8: Mykonos

It’s time to visit the ‘queen of the Cyclades’, also known as ‘the island of the winds’. Let your driver take you to Athens’International Airport to catch the flight to Mykonos! Once you reach your destination, you’ll have the rest of the day free to spend with your family and enjoy in whichever way you prefer.

The 6th day of your trip id the perfect time to thoroughly explore the magical island of Mykonos on our small-group family Highlights of Mykonos Tour that will show you around the best of what the island has to offer in just a few hours with the help of local experts. Visit the picturesque region of  Little Venice and take photos in front of the emblematic windmills. Visit some of the island’s most interesting museums and treat yourselves with a traditional lunch at a seaside fish tavern. You can even choose one of Mykonos' stunning beaches for a refreshing dive!

The 7th day of your trip will be free at your disposal to spend with your family, There is a world of activities you can engage in, however, we suggest you join a Mykonos traditional cooking class that will introduce you to the riches of Mykonian and Greek cuisine and keep your little ones entertained with its hands-on approach At the end of the cooking class you’ll even indulge in a full-on Greek feast made from your own hands!

On day 8, luxuriate in our Mykonos full day sailing experience which includes a Delos guided tour. Sail across the breathtaking coastline of Mykonos, dive in the crystal-clear waters of the Aegean Sea, and the secluded cove of Rhenia, and explore the archeological site of Delos with the helo of an archeologist guide. To top it all of, you’ll savor a light lunch full of Greek flavors along with house wine and soft drinks!

Days 9-14: Crete

The next day, it is time to say goodbye to the cosmopolitan island and hello to Crete! Let your driver take you to the Mykonos’airport and catch your flight to Heraklion, where you will spend the remainder of your day with your family at your leisure. Optionally, you can join our Heraklion for Foodies private culinary tour, to get to know the famous Cretan cuisine, visit its best eateries and taste its most delicious products. Don’t be afraid; even the pickiest of eaters cannot deny the scrumptious Cretan flavors.

Watch the rich heritage of the island unfold before your eyes on the 10th day of your trip with a family-friendly Knossos and Archaeological Museum tour. Along with your expert guide, unveil the secrets of one of the most important archaeological sites of Greece and watch your kids get educated on the vast history of the region in a fun and original ways.

On day 11, you’ll be transferred from Heraklion to another one of Crete’s magnificent regions, Chania. You can either spend your first day in Chania free to do with it as you please or you can choose to join a ‘2-hour Stand-Up Paddleboard and Snorkelling Small Group Tour’ that will offer you a day of fun family adventures that your kids will treasure long after you’ve returned back home.

Day 12 is the time to embark on a ‘Full Day trip to Elafonisi’. You’ll be transported in luxury and comfort to swim at one of the best beaches in Greece, Elafonisi, and marvel at the picture-perfect landscape around you During your trip, you’ll also explore with your kids the cave of Agia Sofia and visit the traditional Cretan village of Elos; a family adventure you cannot miss! Alternatively, you can choose to indulge in a ‘Balos Lagoon and Gramvousa Island Cruise’, on which you’ll discover the beauty of the two aforementioned regions while tasting delicious Cretan dishes throughout the experience.

For your penultimate day on the island, enjoy a ‘Day Trip to 7 Traditional Cretan Villages with Lunch’ that will show you the authentic everyday life of the locals and take you around 7 picturesque villages that maintain an old-time charm you can’t help but fall in love with. The delicious local lunch is only the cherry on top of this amazing experience.

On day 14, it’s time for this lovely trip to come to an end. Catch your flight back to Athens and leave our country, having made the best family memories you could possibly ask for!
