This trip combines Cape Town, visiting on the natural Seven Wonders of the year at Victoria Falls and a safari. All the properties are sustainable and committed to responsible tourism practices, community involvement and wildlife conservation. |
Day 1-4: Cape Town
Touch down in Cape Town at Cape Town International Airport, where a Jumbari Family Safaris representative will collect you and transfer you to your hotel.
Belmond Mount Nelson is situated about 40 minutes from the airport and is situated at the foot of Table Mountain and is regarded as one of Cape Town’s top five-star hotels.
We suggest a Fynbos Sunset Walk led by an expert guide, which leaves from the hotel, perfect for nature lovers and finishes off with canapes on the mountain. For dinner on one evening we also suggest booking a Chef’s Table at the hotel which uses local organic seasonal ingredients.
On day 2 you will have a morning half day private tour to the Winelands close to Franschhoek visiting 2 wine farms. One of the wine farms is Backsberg that is committed to environmental practices. Wine bottles in lightweight bottles, tree planting, environment management plan and one of only three carbon neutral winery’s in the world and the only one in South Africa. In Backsberg you can have wine tasting or walk around the gardens which have conservation for the endangered Fynbos.

The lodge has cottages or private houses so suitable for all members of the family and all have fantastic views over the Zambezi River. There are also private concierges which ensures attentive service.
