You’ll find bizarre rock formations – pinnacles, cones, mushrooms, chimneys -- and troglodyte caves dating from the Bronze Age that were later occupied by early Christians, who sought refuge here and carved churches out of the soft rock. Hot air ballooning is popular here, as you drift over the plains and valleys soaking in the moonlike sights; you can also stay in a cave hotel.
