"It was a leap of faith for us to use Zicasso, a service that connected us to Top Travel Italy, and to book a trip with a travel agent because we've always planned our own vacations in the past. It turned out great! Their model works. Zicasso recommended two agencies in Italy, our destination country, and we chose Top Travel Italy based on their responsiveness. What fun to create a customized itinerary based on their recommendations -- we told them how many days we could travel, what our budget was, and roughly what we wanted to do. They came back with a first draft and we tweaked it from there. Everything worked smoothly while we were in Italy -- we had good hotels and great tour guides, but I think the highlight for me was the private drivers! Driving in Cinque Terre, Rome, and the Amalfi Coast would have been stressful and it was wonderful to leave that to the professionals. And always, Top Travel was a phone call or an email away if we needed them."

"Our trip was incredible! We got back last Friday from 10 days in Italy. It was an amazing experience. Here's the email I was writing to send to Alessio Mazza, the face of wetravel for us. He worked with me on every little detail leading up to the trip and his assistance did not stop once we arrived in Italy... Hi Alessio! I just wanted to take the time to thank you for the great experience we all had in Italy. It's hard to imagine it being any better. From the hotels (and their locations!) to the tour guides to the drivers to the dinners planned, everything was wonderful. We especially loved the restaurant in Venice at the start of the trip. What a wonderful vibe. We sat at a small table by an open window in an old neighborhood trattoria. The food was amazing, the people friendly, the wine, of course, oh so good. We soon found this to be true everywhere we went. Food & wine amazing, and the people supporting our trip were such nice people! I could go on and on about all the places we visited, so many wonderful experiences. Each and every day we were doing exactly what we wanted to be doing! Perfecto! For my mom, who is 84, it was extra special. She has wanted to go to Italy for many years. She has never been though her dad was born in Vietri sul Mare. She had a fantastic time, and amazingly she walked the streets of Venice, Rome, Florence and the towns in Campania as if she were 65. She walked the cobblestones of the Colosseum and Pompeii and the steps everywhere! :) She had an incredible experience. As did the rest of us. I'd like to thank you for always being there when needed, I got to know quickly that your assistance did not end when we arrived in Italy. That I could ask just about anything and count on you for an answer or a pointer to someone who could. To say nothing of the planning we did together to customize our trip beforehand. It is all very much appreciated! Your helpfulness, caring and kindness were always present. When I/we travel again to Italy I will be sure to reach out and plan with you. Many, many thanks. "The tour leader Andy was excellent. He shared lots of knowledge of the area and always made time to chat with everyone. He was encouraging and understanding of the slower walkers. The itinerary was manageable. The rest day alternatives were so good it was hard to choose. We went to the Ice man museum in Balzano. The exhibition was extremely well done. Balzano an interesting town to walk around. The hotel staff were friendly and food good. I found it unusual not have complimentary tea and coffee provided if not in the room then at a station in a communal area."

"I've travelled with Intrepid in Vietnam, Morocco, Nepal and Egypt and had a brilliant time every time. The experience is better than most tours as you are in a small group that goes a bit more 'off the beaten track', and you don't get taken to endless shopping opportunites (i.e. a cousin's carpet shop). They also have higher ethics than most travel companies, they contribute to local charities and they avoid animal use (donkeys etc) where possible. The tour leaders we have had have all been wonderful, knowledgable and relaxed, with good english."

"We just returned from a two-week trip that took us from Venice, to Parma, to Florence, to Rome, and Sorrento, and we couldn't be happier with the trip set up by everyone at Viandando. After telling them what our interests were, they set up a tour that introduced us to Italy and kept everyone in our group (ranging from grandparents to kids) engaged and excited. All of the guides we had were friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable. Although Italy was packed with tourists, Viandando set us up so we never waited in any lines and were able to experience some of the top sites without huge crowds. The hotels we had were all fantastic, offering us great rooms and central locations to explore the city. Our drivers were waiting for us and got us where we needed to be on time! Most importantly, Elena, Eleonora, and Giulia were there for us when plans changed unexpectedly. Our flights were cancelled multiple times and, even though this was totally out of their control, Viandando had our back and was able to make last minute travel changes to help save whatever they could of the days that we lost due to our flights. Their support while we were on the trip was absolutely fantastic. If you're looking for a quality company to set up a first-class trip, you can stop searching--Viandando will get it done for you!"
