Itinerary

Day 1 : Tanzania arrival – Arusha Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will be greeted by your Agama guide. Drive to Arusha to Outpost Lodge. Depending on your arrival time have a guided walk through Arusha. Briefing in an evening for your climb starting the next day. Lunch and dinner included. Accommodation (Outpost Lodge) Day 2 : Arusha - Momela Gate - Mariakamba Hut After breakfast be driven to the Momela gate of Mt Meru. Start the hiking with a professional park ranger. Along the way, you will likely see some animals including elephants, zebras, and giraffe , monkeys, antelope, and often elephants along the route. After about 5-7 hours reach the hut Mariakamba (2500 m) for rest, dinner and overnight. 3 meals included. Day 3 : Mariakamba Hut - Saddle Hut Get breakfast and continue your climb. After about 3-5 hours reach Saddle Hut (3550m) passing through the forest. The walk will take you slowly along the ridge for a spectacular view of the Meru Crater and the impressive Ash Cone. After hot lunch at Saddle Hut, we can make a short climb to the summit of Little Meru (3820m) for superb views just before sunset. Dinner and overnight at Saddle Hut. 3 meals included. Day 4 : Saddle Hut - Summit - Mariakamba Hut Wake up at midnight, around 1:30 am to climb steeply to Rhino Point (3800m) and on to Cobra Point (4350m). We reach the summit (4566m) on time for sunrise. The final part of the climb is along a spectacular narrow ridge line between the sheer inner cliffs and the sloping outer wall of the crater. Take a short rest at Saddle Hut and continue down to the Mariakamba Hut. 3 meals included. Day 5 : Mariakamba - Momela Gate – Arusha We take a short and fast descent way through open grassland and mixed forest, with the possibility of seeing wildlife before reaching Momela Gate in the late morning. From the gate, you will be driven back to Arusha town to Outpost lodge for your overnight. 3 meals included. Accommodation (Outpost Lodge) Day 6 : Tarangire National Park/Lake Manyara (choose between) After breakfast drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a game drive through the park with a picnic lunch. This park is known for its holding one of the largest elephant herds in Africa. Lions, giraffes, zebras saw and over 500 different birds species to find. Later go to Panorama Inn in Karatu for your dinner and overnight. or After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara. Enjoy a game drive in the park with a picnic lunch. Lake Manyara is best known for its rich variety of bird life and tree climbing lion. Elephants, monkeys, flamingos, pelicans, cormorants and storks, to mention a few also visible in Manyara.  Later you will drive to Panorama Inn in Karatu for your dinner and overnight. 3 meals included. Day 7 : Coffee Plantation Resthouse After breakfast drive to Coffee Plantations at this beautiful location bordering the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Take a walk through the coffee, and vegetable plantations. Here you can see a variety of different species of trees as well. If you're lucky you can see elephants in the distant jungle. Take a walk through the nearby hills, optional to see and visit local families living the true African way. Enjoy a day here in this unique Tanzanian place. 3 meals included. Day 8 : Serengeti National Park After breakfast, you will head off to Serengeti National Park. This is undoubtedly Tanzania's most famous park. Great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant's gazelle are resident at any time of the year. Lions and leopards easily were seen. You will enjoy a late afternoon game drive in the amazing Serengeti. Later go to your dinner and overnight at Serengeti Wild Camp. 3 meals are included. Accommodation (Wild Camp) Day 9 : Serengeti National Park After breakfast, you will venture into Serengeti’s wilderness corners for a full day of game viewing in the park. With a picnic lunch beside you, take your leisure while exploring this world heritage site, where earth’s largest concentration of plain game still roams free! In the evening you will go Serengeti Wild Camp for your dinner and overnight. 3 meals are included. Accommodation (Wild Camp) Day 10 : Serengeti National Park After breakfast head out for your last game drive in the amazing Serengeti. You cannot see too much of the park. That's just the way it is! About 70 larger mammal and 500 bird species are found in this park. Blue wildebeests, gazelles, zebras, and buffalos are some of the commonly found large mammals in the region. Later drive to Ngorongoro Wild Camp for your dinner and overnight. 3 meals are included. Accommodation (Wild Camp) Day 11 : Ngorongoro Crater After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a half day game drive inside the crater. This is the best place in Tanzania to see black rhino as well as pride of lion that include the magnificent black-manned males. There are lots of colorful flamingoes and a variety of water birds. Other game that you can see includes leopard, cheetah, hyena, other members of the antelope family, and small mammals. Later drive to Flaming Safari Lodge in Karatu for your overnight. 3 meals are included. Accommodation (Flamingo Safari Lodge) Day 12 : Karatu – Departure Have to breakfast at Flamingo Safari Lodge. Depending on your flight time, you can have a guided walk through the town Karatu. This upcoming safari town has many unique things to see. Explore the way local Tanzanian's live their lives. Later depart back to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight. Breakfast included.
