Day 1: arrive Juneau

On arrival in the Alaskan state capital make your own way to your hotel for a 3-night stay. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 2: Juneau

Enjoy a full day at leisure, exploring Juneau and the surrounding area. A ticket for the Mt Roberts Tram has been included for you to make use of today.

Day 3: Bear watching

Enjoy a 30 minute scenic float-plane flight to Admiralty Island, where you will spend around 4-5 hours watching grizzly bears in their natural habitat. Your pilot/guide will plan your trip to maximize bear viewing potential based on conditions on the day.

Day 4: Juneau - Gustavus

Make your way to Juneau airport for your flight to Gustavus. On arrival, transfer to your accommodation for a hearty lunch. This afternoon a half-day whale watching excursion is included, cruising through the aptly-named Icy Strait in search of the humpback whales that use this area as summer feeding grounds. Day 5: Glacier Bay National Park

Cancellation policy

If you fail to pay the full cost of the holiday within the specified time or if you cancel your holiday, you will be liable as a minimum, to pay the charges detailed below up to the point of cancellation. Or in the case of failure to pay, at the date that we deem your booking to have been cancelled. Should you wish to cancel your booking after it has been accepted you must send us written notice signed by the person who made and confirmed the booking. The cancellation charge will be calculated according to the date when we receive written notice of cancellation, or the date upon which your cancellation is treated as occurring because of nonpayment.

We reserve the right to apply the following cancellation charges based on a proportion of the total cost of the holiday as shown on our invoice, excluding those items referred to below.

More than 60 days: deposit

60-22 days: 50% of holiday cost

21-15 days: 75% of holiday cost

14-8 days: 90% of holiday cost

7-0 days: 100% of holiday cost

Note: non refundable air, concert or event tickets will be charged at 100% and the above scale of charges refund in respect to the Concert/Event ticket only, and no other compensation or refunds will be due.
