Itinerary
Arrive at any time.
There are no activities planned until tonight's welcome meeting and your First Night Out with the group.
Head out with your CEO for an orientation walk through Hanoi's Old Quarter. Enjoy the rest of the day free to explore.
Travel to Ninh Binh, a city along the Red River Delta surrounded by towering karsts and winding rivers. Visit a local pagoda, then hop into a paddle boat for a guided tour through the area's stunning limestone caves and peaceful rice paddies. Continue to Vinh.
Travel through Vietnam's stunning countryside to the mountains of Phong Nha-Kẻ Bàng National Park. On arrival, opt to explore the town of Phong Nha by foot or by bike.
Today, opt to head underground to explore the awe-inspiring caves of Phong Nha-Kẻ Bàng National Park, where the oldest karst mountains and longest cave in Asia are found.
En route to Hue, visit the Vinh Moc Tunnels, a complex underground cave system in the former Vietnamese DMZ. Take an orientation walk around Hue and enjoy a free evening.
Opt to visit the Royal Tombs, Tien Mu Pagoda and Imperial Citadel.
Enjoy a free morning in Hue. Later, travel to the port city of Hoi An. Join your CEO on a walk toward the picturesque Old Town and spot Chinese assembly halls, historic homes, and well-preserved pagodas along the way.
Visit the G Adventures-supported Oodles of Noodles for an unforgettable cooking class. Enjoy a free afternoon before your Big Night Out with the group — the first drink's on us.
Noodles might be fun to eat, but they're even more fun to make! With free time, opt to visit the World Heritage listed My Son ruins or cruise down the Thu Bon River.
Enjoy a full free day to explore Hoi An's rich culture and heritage, or just chill out and hit the beach.
Spend the next few days soaking in the best coastal scenery as we hop from one beach town to another. With an early start, travel to Qui Nhon, a tranquil beach town largely off the tourist radar. Enjoy epic seaside views and opt to try the regional cuisine.
Travel to Nha Trang via the stunning passes of Cổ Mã and Deo Cả, with sweeping views of the coastline as you drive past secluded bays and lush, green valleys. Head out for an evening street food crawl.
Enjoy a free morning to explore Nha Trang's local shops and markets. Opt to hit the beach, or visit the local mud baths. Continue to Mui Ne, an off-the-beaten-track seaside retreat lined with palm trees and endless white sand.
Enjoy a full free day to experience this little slice of coastal paradise. Opt to view the sunrise over towering sand dunes, visit the local seafood market, go sandboarding or kitesurfing, relax on the beach, or stop by a local fish sauce factory.
Travel to Ho Chi Minh City. Head out for an orientation walk with your CEO and get a feel for Vietnam's buzzing southern capital. Opt to visit the Ben Thanh Market for souvenirs and handicrafts, before hitting one of the city's many rooftop bars.
Depart at any time.

Our award-winning trips embrace authentic accommodation, exotic cuisine and local transport to put travellers on a first-name basis with the planet’s people, cultures, landscapes and wildlife.
Adventure travel is more than a vacation. It’s a chance to get to know your world better by putting yourself on a first-name basis with the people, places, and things that make it worth exploring. This is your planet. Come and get it.
All G Adventures tours share a common love of adventure, but life-altering experiences come in a variety of flavors. Here are some of the Travel Styles we offer:
"Comfort": “Adventure travel” doesn’t have to mean “roughing it.” Comfort tours offer the genuine experiences you want with more extras, frills, and upgrades.
"Classic": An unbeatable mix of uncommon experiences, insider access, cultural contact, and all the must-sees and -dos, Classic is adventure perfected.
"Active": Why just see the world when you could bike, hike, kayak, and multi-sport it? Why, indeed. Active tours keep travellers who like to move on the move.
"Yolo": You’re only young once. Make the most of it with Yolo tours, fun-filled and fast-moving adventures designed just for travellers aged 18 to 39.
"Family": Just because you settled down and had kids doesn’t mean your adventuring days are through. Family makes our big planet small enough for all.
"Local Living": Want to get under the skin of some of the most gorgeous and out-there places? Local Living tours grant access that even locals don't have.
"Private Groups": Got a group of eight or more and want to keep the fun to yourselves? Try a Private Group tour. You pick the who and where, we’ll handle the what.
No matter what kind of traveller you are, we’ve got a tour (or a dozen) that’ll fit you just right.

Meals
Eating is a big part of traveling. G Adventures understands the importance of breakfast to start your day, we strive to include a basic breakfast wherever possible. Included breakfasts will usually be asian style consisting of noodles or congee (rice porridge) or bread and eggs, however this may vary depending on the city. Should breakfast not be included, your CEO can suggest some local options. Travelling with G Adventures you experience the vast array of wonderful food that is available out in the world. Generally meals are not included in the trip price when there is a choice of eating options, to give you the maximum flexibility in deciding where, what and with whom to eat. It also gives you more budgeting flexibility, though generally food is cheap. Our groups tend to eat together to enable you to taste a larger variety of dishes and enjoy each other's company. There is no obligation to do this though. Your CEO will be able to suggest favourite restaurants during your trip. While trekking in remote regions etc. food is included, plentiful and made of fresh local ingredients. For all trips please refer to the meals included and budget information for included meals and meal budgets.
