The compulsory local payment will be paid when you join the trip. All prices are based on double, twin or triple share occupancy. Solo passengers will be accommodated in a double, twin or triple room according to availability with a passenger(s) of the same gender. Single supplement only needs to be paid if the passenger does not want to share and requests their own room. Discounts can only be applied at the time of booking and cannot be added at a later date, regardless of any changes made to the original booking.

Its founding member, Rikus Visser, started in 1994 to get to know the continent from head to toe when working for an overland company and getting to know and falling in love with the whole of Southern and East-Africa.
In 1997 he and 3 friends drove from England through the whole of African continent and arriving in Cape Town after 8 months. In 1999 he envisage to promote SA in Australia and together with a tour operator company in Australia, the company was born.
In 2002, the company was officially registered in SA as Getaway Africa Travel & Tours CC. Its registration number with the Department of Trade & Industry is 2002/041268/23.

Accommodation
In the event of the customer cancelling their reservation for any reason, such cancellation must be made in writing/email/fax and in such instances cancellation charges will be levied as follow:
More than 45 days prior to departure: The largest amount between the deposit paid & $34 per item cancelled.
45 days - 32 days prior to departure: 75% of total price
31 days or less prior to departure 100%: of total price

Thailand tour can be extended your stay in Phuket with 3 extra nights
Reservations:
On confirmation of the booking the customer shall pay Getaway Africa a deposit of the total price as advised on invoice.
The balance owing on the invoice must be paid 8 weeks prior to departure.
In the event of any reservation being completed less than 54 days prior to departure, the total price is due immediately on confirmation and is refunds are according to the invoice and service providers' terms and conditions. We therefore strongly recommend sufficient travel insurance to cover you against major eventualities.
Getaway Africa reserves the right to cancel any reservation for which payment has not been made by due date in which event, any deposit paid will be forfeited to Getaway Africa.
Documentation is only prepared on receipt of full and final payment and completed booking form.
Confirmation of the booking and payment of the deposit shall constitute acceptance of Getaway Africa's terms and conditions of business.(Please see Account for payments on Getaway Africa Booking Forms).
Insurance:
All travellers are advised to and are solely responsible to take out comprehensive travel insurance and to familiarize themselves with any exceptions and conditions as may be imposed by the insurance company or underwriters issuing the policy of insurance which they select.
Getaway Africa shall not be responsible or liable:
for any information which it or its representatives furnish in relation to travel insurance; or
For filing/prosecuting a claim on behalf of the traveller against any insurer/ underwriter who has issued a policy to the traveller
For any claim disputed/ rejected by the insurers.
For the return of monies paid due to any reason for the traveller not being able to make use of the services. It is therefore critical to have insurance to cover the traveller against any instance
