What's this trip about?

The purpose of this trip is to evoke an understanding of bhutan and perhaps a spiritual awakening through the study and use of colors within the context of cosmology, astrology and buddhist teaching. Led by an individual who is well-versed in the use of color and buddhist teachings in bhutan, the journey takes you  from paro in the west to bumthang in the center of the country, but in a most unusual fashion. Along the way, you will go through a buddhist cleansing ceremony, make a mandala with local monks, meet with an indigenous doctor and talk with and listen to some of the master teachers. You also have the opportunity to participate in different rituals and offerings, such as the dued ritual, a tsokhor offering or tsa tsa making. The Climax of the Trip is a Pilgrimage to Sacred Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest) Monastery.
