The compulsory local payment will be paid when you join the trip. All prices are based on double, twin or triple share occupancy. Solo passengers will be accommodated in a double, twin or triple room according to availability with a passenger(s) of the same gender. Single supplement only needs to be paid if the passenger does not want to share and requests their own room. Discounts can only be applied at the time of booking and cannot be added at a later date, regardless of any changes made to the original booking.

An M/V Discovery Panama cruise offers an itinerary for those with a passion for history, love of wildlife and an adventurous spirit. Follow in the wake of the Spanish conquistador, Vasco Nuñez de Balboa, all the way from the Pacific Ocean to the Caribbean. As the only vessel authorized to overnight in Panama Canal waters and the Chagres River, your itinerary is guaranteed to be a unique experience. Uncover the fascinating history of the Panama Canal, venture through the Darien jungle, and so much more on a remarkable journey of discovery. The M/V Discovery is a 33 meter catamaran, providing 8-Queen and 4-Twin cabins. All cabins have individual climate control, bathrooms and huge windows which extend along the length of the cabin allowing you to enjoy the passing-by Panamanian scenery in complete privacy. The Discovery holds a capacity of 24 passengers, along with a crew of 13 carefully selected staff, including a cruise director, and 2 expert bilingual Panama cruise guides. In fact, most guests return stating that the service provided by the cruise guides was one of the best parts of the journey. The dining area, bar and lounge are located on the mid-deck which is fitted with floor to ceiling “glass walls” providing a spectacular dinning experience and plenty of space to unwind. Enjoy Panamanian haute gastronomy as we delight you with exquisite traditional dishes prepared by a talented chef. Otherwise features are the same as in the other cabins: air conditioning, chair, wardrobe, vanity, flashlight, night lamps, complimentary bottled water, hairdryer, towels, bed-linen and basic amenities. Standard Cabins Size: 116 Sq. Ft. = 10.8 Sq. Mt. Beds: Twin/Queen Windows: Windows that extend the length of the cabin. The Client may cancel the booking at any time provided that the cancellation is communicated to Rainforest Cruises in writing. Cancellation will be applied based on the date on which we receive written notification. Any refund applicable to customers will be after bank or transaction fees are subtracted.
The deposit paid to reserve the trip is 100% non-refundable.
Payments for flights, cruises and Inca Trail bookings are non-refundable, due to airlines and operators' policies.
All other reservations cancelled less than 100 days prior to the departure date of the tour are subject to full loss of payment.
Rainforest Cruises advises its customers to travel with cancellation / travel insurance in order to avoid financial losses or disappointment due to unforeseen circumstances.
In case part of a booking is cancelled, the remaining party may have to pay additional charges (e.g. under-occupancy, or single room supplements).
Please note that all cruise itineraries are subject to change due to seasonal weather conditions (and resultant variations in sea levels) affecting accessibility to locations. Thus navigation routes, times and excursions may need to be modified at the cruise captain’s discretion.
Passengers should also be aware that animal sightings cannot be guaranteed due to the unpredictability of wildlife behavior.
