What's this trip about?

The Iguazu Falls, located on the border of southern Brazil and northern Argentina, and the ruins of Machu Picchu, nestled in the cloud forest of Peru, have been difficult to combine into a quick South American tour -- until now. These two highlights of South America are readily accessible with a flight direct from Iguazu to Lima. Now a whirlwind tour of South America's recently voted New World Wonders is an easy feat and a rewarding one at that. Imagine yourself gazing upon the 275 waterfalls of Iguazu, and then exploring the Inca ruins of Machu Picchu -- all within a week. Then finish this Iguazu Falls and Machu Picchu tour with a visit to Rio de Janeiro, the ""Marvelous City"" of Brazil. Perhaps a one-of-a-kind fully-custom World Wonders of South America Tour or Iguazu Falls and Machu Picchu Tour just is not enough! If that is the case, consider adding on Easter Island on to your Machu Picchu Tour. Have even more time to spare? Also, see the similar Lost City and Cidade Maravilhosa on a tour that includes Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, Chile, and Brazil!

History

The idea for SouthAmerica.travel first came to Co-Founders Juergen Keller and Bradley Nehring in 1999 while traveling through Brazil's Amazon Rainforest. The two noticed very few international travelers, and those they did meet had struggled to arrange the trip by themselves. Expert, custom travel planning to Brazil was scarce - nearly non-existent at the time. This inspired the duo to fill the void and help travelers plan incredible customized trips to Brazil. We have grown a lot since then. The SouthAmerica.travel Team has helped thousands of travelers fulfill their dream of discovering the marvelous and diverse continent of South America.
